More than likely the files needed to fix your "glitched" world are in the checkpoint folder. Checkpoints are saved under ".minecraft/saves/MyWorldName/checkpoints/". Each folder under there is a checkpoint you saved. If you were using the autosave feature, the checkpoints are saved under "autosaves" instead of "checkpoints". When a checkpoint is saved all the world files are copied to the new checkpoint folder. Once I saw an instance where one file was missed/corrupted for whatever reason (I've only ever seen it happen to level.dat, and only once), so more than likely the file you need is in one of the checkpoint folders.
dont know if anyone brought this up, but the download links are broken for me and I'd LOVE to have this mod ;_;

I tested 60% positive for minecraft addiction......hey, my internet wouldn't allow me to see the image so I typed it in....and I'm not very creative, so of course I'm not THAT addicted ;_;
New releases of bspkrsCore are out for 1.5.1 and 1.4.7 to fix the update check timeouts. Other notable changes include mod_bspkrsCore.cfg is replaced by mod_bspkrsCore.bsprops.cfg (Forge made me do it to keep it from getting renamed) and a super secret feature that I will not be telling anyone about.
*raises hand* I'm having a problem, everytime I try to download the core I get taken to some whack site that has me d/l some other ...thing which gets flagged as malware. So maybe im not clicking the proper D/L button :/

Don't click on anything but the Skip Ad button that appears after 5 seconds in the upper right corner. If that's what's giving you malware, it should be reported to adf.ly.
Getting spam of the following error in my log every time a checkpoint is created. Surprisingly it doesn't seem to really break anything in the running world, tho i diden't really experiment with the generated checkpoints

Hi, I have an suggestion for your mod.
Its maybe difficult to do, but if you can make it, it would be awesome:
-Add a command to the "command block" to save automatic checkpoints.
-Add a command to automatically load the last checkpoint with command block.
-And add a "rule command" to disable or enable the posibility to access to the "checkpoint menu".
-And add a "rule command" to disable or enable, the posibility to load your last checkpoint from the "death menu" (when you die).
Those are suggestion for map making, because I like your mod and I think I can use it for a map (obviously I gonna give credits to you).
I'm gonna use this things for "Mission with no fails" (like the missions of Assassin's Creed), make a mistake and fail the mission, and go back you to the last checkpoint (an example), or don't die when the "catacumbs" are destroyed with tnt.
I hope you consider my suggestion. Thanks
Whenever I try it, my game crashes, I've done exactly as said on this page (get the mod, FML, and bspkrsCore) please help, I like using hardcore mode but I don't want to lose it/ copy it to my desktop.
Hey there I would love to be able to use this amazing mod! However, I sadly receive this error every time I try to start up a new world:

Oh yeah I am using MC 1.5.2 and I do have Bspkrs Core core mod installed... Please reply back asap thanks!
I have a HUGE problem. I used this mod to make a checkpoint and after i loaded it, it had completely glitched out my map! It disappeared my whole house, just a wall with windows was left; also everything that was inside of it. It literally restarted half of my map: in one half there isn't anything that i have done so far (included my house), even the pigs that spawned there and were already dead appeared again; in the other half everything seems as i left it (so far). I dont understand what happened, all i did was F6, save check point, renamed it (with normal characters, just letters without periods) and then reloaded it so i could see if it saved and this happened! I couldn't have my map back by replacing the files of the checkpoint in the original saves folder. I don't know what else to do, I didn't have a backup and it's the first time that I use this mod. I don't want to lose all of my work can someone (or the creator of the mod) help me please??

Did you actually let it save your map when you saved it? A chat message appears when the level is finished saving.

Hi, I'd really like to install World State Checkpoint. it's exactly what i need, since minecraft won't save without exiting, or exit without saving. So, I'm trying to install bspkrsCore, and the latest version bspkrsCore3.05.zip appears to be corrupted. So does 3.04. So does World State CheckpointML.1.6.4r01.zip. when i click to open the archives, it says it is in no known format or corrupted, with both zip and winrar. I also tried dropping them in the mods folder, and they don't load. I'm using the latest Forge, with minecraft 1.6.4.
can you help?
thanks

OK! I tried yet again to download the two files necessary here, and this time they were not corrupt -- thanks so much if you fixed them! Now installed in 1.6.4, and working well with my tests so far. Great plugin, just what Minecraft needs to make a good play experience.

I think it's just my sub-standard host... seems to just happen sometimes.
Check out the new video! Much thanks to DonkeyPanic!
