Sometimes* decompactor doesnt pop out the mob, is that normal?

EDIT2: Ok... i've been doing a little research here... mob doesnt popout if they are breed with the machine, mob taken directly from world does pop out, also catalyst doesnt nothing with those who doesnt pop out
They do pop out, if not used incubator on them though (not 100% sure on this...)
Thanks for catiching that. Its the result of changing the NBT data saved. I will have a fix in a bit.
Recently test Handheld Compactor at mobs. It work find at normal mobs but i fail propertly use it at villager.. Maybe this can be fixed in somVillager open own menu at use attempt. Maybe it can be fixed in some way? For example maybe possible apply compacting to mob if target not mob itself but block under/near mob.
Ok just decided to try it ( tired of building huge farms) and althoug it works great i was wondering if automation via log pipes would be a possibility to kinda sort out and evenly distribute the compact animals into the breeder/incubater/catalyst.Also have noticed that the catalyst isnt pipe friendly meaning it only shoots out the item and thats bad for business since i dont like using obsidian pipes to put things into storage and i dont wanna walk away from it and waste materials.Also was wondering if it was possible to make it so i wouldnt have to reopen the gui in order for the compact mobs to reappear or come out of the pipes.other then that it is a great mod just seems like it needs a lil tweaking before its perfected for auto animal farming.

Ok, looking into this, it has to do with how soul shard mobs store their data
i guess the same goes for all custom added mobs like those from thaumcraft or twilight forest. i'll use the vanilla ones for now thanks for the mod !!!

It should work with most of the custom mobs, for some reason, the soul shards mobs are missing some nbt data or something, looking into it, but if you want to play it safe, you can stick to vinilla mobs.

Can we have a config option (default to false) to change if the wither can be sent through the catalyst but only gets a star?
I help manage a server and the general rule is no griefing mobs such as withers but this means its hard to get nether stars. Currently we're using tradeomats, immibis duplicators and void pipes to turn compact withers into stars but we would like to be able to manage them ourselves instead of going to spawn. Also, if this isn't already in it can we breed withers? Maybe this setting old be a global can withers be bred, catalyst with no effort thing.
So, the next update should be coming when the MC 1.5 update goes live and Buildcraft updates. I have fixed most of the bugs (except that you need to reopen the inv to see changes... Working on that), Including the soulshard crashing. There are new features in the pipe line, but I'm not sure if they will be ready for the first 1.5 update as I have been busy with other things as of recently.
Maybe it's a bit of an ask but it would be cool if you could interact with compact villagers and access their trade menu with a shift+rightClick or something. Portable Shops FTW!
Also sinces mob naming became a thing in 1.5 could there be a way to name compact mobs (That is not the anvil cause the anvil is a greedy jerk)? please and thank you.
