Still, I think the sonic screwdriver deserves more attention, it is one of the most iconic images of Doctor who.
Could the sonic screwdriver be more useful overall instead of just being a iron door lock?
Here are some examples:
Like on high frequencies cause hostile mobs to stop moving for a very short time, like five seconds,
Disarm other mobs from what they are holding, ex disarming a golden sword from a zombie pig man.
Temporary healing device that gives the player regen 2 for 10 seconds. (But huge cool down)- we see the doctor heal Amy in the vampires in Venice episode.
On high frequencies set TNT and activates pistons in a 5 block radius and on low frequency only sets off what the player is looking at.
I got the dalek mod, but the lag is unbelievable. It takes like 5 minutes just to enter a world, and I can't play at all. This may seem stupid, but Is my computer just not beefy enough, or am i missing something? Just wondering.

go into edit profile and look at the very bottom, turn on the java argument and increase your java memory, that might help

Two things
1) Please use a spoiler next time when posting a crash report, it is the little red button 3 icons to the left of the smiley face on the post toolbar.
2) It looks like you might be having a mob id# conflict.. or an enchant id# conflict. Most likely it is the mob id# conflict
3) you are using Custom NPC's, try going into the config file for Custom NPC's and change the unique entity id start number, and just in case also change the enchant id start number and see if that stops your crashes. See spoiler below.
These are the numbers I use due to conflicts with more than one mod, they should work for you
#Uses unique entities ids
UseUniqueEntities=false
#To use this UseUniqueEntities has to be false
EntityStartId=141
Who would want to have a gallifrey symbol floating there that is not a very good idea.
There is nothing wrong with a Gallifrey symbol floating there as long as it acts like other GUI's and only appears when you activate it. Just a personal opinion here and not meaning to sound rude, but most GUI's don't hang around like your post suggests.
Here is an idea of what I think the sonic screwdriver GUI should be, with higher frequency at the top of the bar and lower frequency lower.
It is in the attachments. And I photo shopped it to get a rough idea.
EDIT: Finished it up.
After reading through some of yours posts, in a later update I might have a look at redoing a lot of the Sonic Screwdriver, we have added another new functionality to it for the next update, however I do think the whole thing needs a big overhaul!
Identifies blocks by scanning them.
Etc.
Hope this suggestion helps.
As I remember, the Sonic does more that "be an Iron door lock".
1: Put some glass panes down, and right-click with the Sonic in the air.
2: Use it on TNT.
3: Redstone. That's all.
4: Also, redstone lamps.
true
He said that yesterday.
I have done so much work on it today, I think tomorrow I will get the GUI's finished then take a small break, then finish the update!

Can't Wait!!
Yes you can.

11: "Apologies to everyone who has quit or ever will, but where do you want to start?"
And, in the words of Khotarri: "Sry to evryone :3"
Please read THIS before making a suggestion
And support the ability to add paintings and records!

Identifies blocks by scanning them.
Etc.
Hope this suggestion helps.
go into edit profile and look at the very bottom, turn on the java argument and increase your java memory, that might help
UseUniqueEntities=false
#To use this UseUniqueEntities has to be false
EntityStartId=141
and
#Start Id for enchants
EnchantStartId=151
It is in the attachments. And I photo shopped it to get a rough idea.
EDIT: Finished it up.
There is nothing wrong with a Gallifrey symbol floating there as long as it acts like other GUI's and only appears when you activate it. Just a personal opinion here and not meaning to sound rude, but most GUI's don't hang around like your post suggests.
After reading through some of yours posts, in a later update I might have a look at redoing a lot of the Sonic Screwdriver, we have added another new functionality to it for the next update, however I do think the whole thing needs a big overhaul!
As I remember, the Sonic does more that "be an Iron door lock".
1: Put some glass panes down, and right-click with the Sonic in the air.
2: Use it on TNT.
3: Redstone. That's all.
4: Also, redstone lamps.
