Use MagicLauncher or MultiMC and add the files as a mod for MagicLauncher or as "add to minecraft jar" in multimc. I don't know how to add it using the default launcher since they've changed it so many times.
How i install beta 1.8.1 optifine? Look,i was triyn' to install minecraft beta 1.8.1 optifine like a normal person,appdata,versions,copy paste but i just couldn't install minecraft beta 1.8.1 optifine of that way ¿how i install it of other way? im so confused because if that don't work i don't know what work and also i was lookin' minecraftBeta1.8.1optifine's things and what i found was so many confusing things and i just can't guess what to do ¿who can says me how to install minecraftBeta.1.8.1optifine? thanks -Alan
umm, may i have some help? I am kinda lost here. So i installed OptiFine Beta 1.8.1, and then I moved the OptiFine .class files and everything to the b1.8.1 jar file, and removed the META-INF folder. then renamed the jar to OptiFine Beta 1.8.1, and started it, then i never got the video settings and other Optifine things

i couldnt find any downloads for it, and the archives on the wayback machine dont seem to have a file for it saved
im not sure if theres a required difference between 21w08b and 1.17, depending on your need for the snapshot, you might be able to update to it (making a backup of your saves) and use 1.17 or 1.17.1 and that release of optifine

Everyone has O.C.D. and A.D.H.D. and Autism and so on its just a matter of how much that makes people say you have it...
I have all 3 where people will say i have them... people hate on me for it...
Heres more accurate explanations of each:
O.C.D. makes you hate not symmetrical things if you have alot and youll tend to repeat things in a specific pattern and hate slight change...
A.D.H.D. makes you be extremely into one specific thing while also connecting things like a cat to radiation...
Autism is literally a label that people use as insults to people who are really good at math and science related things and love those things...

Excellent! I had an hard time installing these versions since there is no minecraft.jar in the bin folder, but I found out it's actually in the versions folder.
Is there any sort of patched version of optifine for older versions of minecraft that don't have that bug where the world falls apart when you go to far out?
