No idea why this keeps happening to Karyonix, I've never had a single file removed and it's not like it's a download numbers thing either as some of my files have had over 50,000 hits.
Anyway, here's another copy until Karyonix sorts out his link (which may take a while as he's away until Sunday)
Just wondering if anyone can point me to a solution or work around to get the shaders to cooperate with forge and using a manual install. Glsl shaders seems to hang when it loads the texturesNM.class.
forge 737
optifine hd ud3
Also should note I am running some other mods which seem to be causing the problem with textureNM.class, more notably buildcraft, and railcraft. Without these installed shaders load fine, without shaders installed everything works, including optifine, also not having the ladders and vines issue mentioned.
Any and all suggestions or theories much appreciated, thanks.
Thanks for the quick response. I assumed it was railcraft when i worked backwards removing mods. If it is indeed just that specific mod I can afford to remove it, only thing I mainly used from it was the locomotive. Thanks again for the quick reply and confirming my theory.
No i don't use texture packs, i only like using shaders for shadows anyways. that has been my biggest problem with mc all along lol. Day night cycle, light up dark caves etc, all the emphasis on light vs dark and no shadows.
Is there anyway to port shaders easily from 1.0.0 to 1.5.2? I do want the acid shaders mod in 1.5.2 but I don't have any experience with Minecraft modding at all.

Well, there is no easy way around it. I got them to work for 1.4.7 but I forgot the forum post that had it with working links.
No, daxnitro's original GLSL shader started it, SEUS had been posted very clearly "This is a mod of a mod."
I never said that SEUS started the GLSL Shaders.. I said that SEUS started all of the shaderpacks..
I know that daxnitro & id_miner started GLSL Shaders, and Karyonix took it over.. Some time soon, SonicEther (SEUS) will be taking over the GLSL Shaders as well..

If you want to use stuff like railcraft your best option is to go back to one of the 1.5.2 preview releases because the texture code wasn't complete so the parts which clash at the moment are missing.
If memory serves me correctly, I posted a link on page 93 for that version.

I don't use many mods myself (it's because of annoying crap like this) but from what people have reported I know EnderStorage is another one, basically any mod which works with textures the way they do is going to have problems with the full 1.5.2 release.
But if you don't use texture packs with normal or specular maps anyway you're not missing much
BuildCraft is working with GLSL 1.46.
RailCraft, IC2, EnderStorage, and a few select others cause this TextureNM bug.
As Eskimo has mentioned, it only happens in GLSL 1.46 because of the way that they had to load textures to get Normal, Specular, Bump, and POM mapping working. Karyonix is re-writing the TextureNM algorithm to fix it.
GLSL 1.45.2 works, but doesn't have the above features to support the fancy TPs (as Eskimo already said too :P).
You can get the Optifine/GLSL for 1.45.2 from the link in my sig too :).
The sunlight in caves problem should be fixed in the version of SEUS that's been promised for release this weekend.

Wait, what?
Everyone has been b*tching that Sonic Ether was releasing demo after demo for new features he thought up instead of just doing a fast and stable build for everyone like he promised a couple of months ago. So he said that whatever he had that was stable enough for release would be come the latest public version.
It won't be v10 RC8, he's decided to call it something different.
Ok, and yes his Facebook page is a bit...demanding at the least.

Please find a way to re-upload. Thank you.
No idea. Thanks for posting an alternate link. I appreciate it.

No, I'm not suggesting to delete Your link. But what if Your link would be deleted? It's not important for me too.

Thank you!
