Just a quick question. I installed the mod and sonic's shaders EXACTLY as it says in the installation section of this post, and I installed and modified Ovo's Texture Pack. MC is running, but when I play i get a black screen. Not a freeze, but my game screen is black. I can still see my gui and I can pause the game and hear animals/monsters and such, but it's as if all of my textures have gone black. Any help would be appreciated.
My Nvidia runs it fine and it's a 260M and i have 4gb mem, so.....
But is there a way to use different shader things? Unsure how to word it. I started my game and the trees are moving in a most awesome manner. Is that how this works?

Current Laptop I'm mining from: Asus Republic of Gamers G60V - 4gb RAM - Nvidia GEForce GTX 260M - Windows 7 64 bit, 2.13 ghz processor, dual core.
For some reason, I put optifine 1.4.2 in my magic launcher then extracted the shaders and ran it. It worked before today, but today, I logged in via magic launcher, I played the game and the grass didn't move and the tree's leaves didnt either. Help me!
Perhaps I am doing something wrong here? I've tried every thing I possibly could to install this mod with absolutely no results. I'm not blaming the creator, I'm blaming my own incapability.
I followed the directions to a T, and when I started minecraft (I use the Magic Launcher) I load in fine, everything seems okay, but I see no results. Did I do something wrong? Am I supposed to install the files to the jar itself? That can't be right as the shaders are already in the jar file.
I run the following:
Magic Launcher
Optifine Ultra
Forge
Pam's mods
Steve's carts 2
Rei's Mini map
I believe that is everything. What am I doing wrong? I checked the log multiple times, there are no errors and everything seems to be installed fine. Is there another file I need? Let me know if you can please, thank you. IN the meantime I'll take a look through the thread again to see if there is anything that I missed. Once again, thank you for your time and I appreciate all help that you can give me.
Same thing here, but I got it to work. For some reason, if I don't install Optifine, it works...
Just shaders in the jar file cannot run by itself.
You must modify minecraft's class or optifine's class to make them call shaders. That is what the installer does.
If you overwrite the modified class with optifine it will not call shaders.
So you must install optifine in the jar before running shaders installer and don't add optifine in magiclauncher.
Hi, I'm on a mac running OSX 10.5.8 and when I try to run the nitrous.jar file, it tells me that the java application couldn't run. When i try opening it from my terminal, I get an error saying,

Any help would be appreciated!
Looks like you missed my post, I see you increased the shader buffer as I suggested in my fix thread. I recently put a 1.4.2 client together and it seems that certain mods need an even larger buffer, LCTrees and Forgotten Nature specifically. I have not done much experimentation, just doubled the buffer again to prevent the overflow crashes.
If you like I'll let you know when I have a stable increase tested out. I am sure that doubling again is overkill.

i install and it all runs with no errors but when going into a map online or in single player its just a black screen with the UI showing. is this just something with my graphics card or did i install wrong?
I am working on a MacBook Pro and am finding it very hard to install this, as I cannot run installer.exe as it is a .exe file.
I get the following error message every time I press install (after I have put it in /bin, it seems to need the other .jar files in .minecraft):

Also, if possible, could you supply a download link to the minecraft.jar file with Optifine and SEUS installed, that would be really nice for us non-programmers. Some of us *coughMecough* really suck when it comes to dealing with such complex installations, which is the way it is if you have Mac OS X. If you do, you will be a life saver.

Do you have anisotropic filtering or anti-aliasing enabled ? They are not compatible yet. Please turn them off.

Oh I did not see that. Thanks for telling me.
Perhaps update to OS X 10.8. It works there.
