Steam recommends what companys pay them to advertise or say they recommend something.
Don't spend $1000 on another company built PC. Watch youtube tutorials on how to build your own. You're definitely not getting $1000 worth of performance.
You think an i7-3820 3.6ghz processor, 16GB RAM and a gtx680 is unbalanced? The only way theyll overheat is if you are a noob and dont adjust the setting properly in thermal controller, and theyre not that over priced because no one includes the cost of the case which would cost at least £100

Steam was obviously paid off by the company to advertise Alienware. Alienware is one of the worst computer companies out there.
Seriously? From what I've heard, Alienware is the best gaming computer out there.

Fps is still very high (even without optifine, arround 80-100 at 1920x1080).
Also released a temponary fix for the lines in the water, in my Thread...
But I'm gonna rework that, maybe tomorrow, or trough the night...

16 GB RAM, 8 GB allocated to Minecraft
Radeon HD 7950 (beast of a card)
AMD FX-8150 OC'd to 4.2 GHz
Yet I only get ~11 FPS max with the latest mod and any given shaderpack... any ideas? I'm using 256x HD texture, whenever I try default, game crashes
