hi, I did everything you said and all went well.
until i unziped the shaderpack and put it in the folder, selected it and when i went back to the game it still didn't show any shaders.
Looks normal as if i didn't install it at all.
Is there anything i should do?
If it helps, before installing i already had mcpatcher installed and optifine.. if its the problem do i have to unistall it somehow?
thank you.

I sure hope that you didn't install the ShadersMod Source Code into the .minecraft directory somewhere... (that is what you quoted).
Run the Optifine installer, run the ShadersMod installer, select the profile that says 1.8-Optifine-Shaders and you're done.
Drop the shaderpack into the 'shaderpacks' folder that is created. ZIP is good, or you can extract it to a folder.
(I'm German, sorry if my English isn't the best!)
How can I install the ShadersMod in an 1.8 Optifine Version?
I can't select where the ShadersMod should to be installed.
Please Help.
1. Run Minecraft 1.8 (not 1.8.1) and close.
2. Run install-asm-all-5.0.3-for-minecraft.jar
3. Run OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_B6.jar (not 1.8.1)
4. Run ShadersMod-v2.4.7mc1.8.jar.
There is no install location option because it should be install in the location that Minecraft launcher use otherwise Minecraft launcher cannot see it.

Shaderpack are to be used as zip file in shaderpacks folder. In the zip, there should be shaders/*.fsh (and vsh). You don't have to unzip it (unless you want to modify).
If you unzip shaderpack, make sure your folder structure is shaderspacks/packname/shaders/*.fsh (and vsh).
Keep getting this screen whenever i load the actual shaderpack in the game. I use seus 10.1.standard and 2.4.7 shadermod. anybody have any suggestions?

I got all of this working fine with no texture pack using 1.8 Then when I used chroma hills the textures went all stripy (mainly the grass textures).
Now I tried to use the SUES chroma hills shaders pack and no difference. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong here?
This is what I used and the order I installed by:

I have discovered a very strange bug that I have not seen mentioned before. I have tested this with both Shadermod 2.4.6 and 2.4.7 both with and without optifine.
What happens is this, when I launch minecraft there are no shadows thrown by builds or entities, when I then go into shaders and select another pack or re-select the pack I already had the shadows will jump all over the place while walking, flying up gives me a HUGE shadow for myself.
I have switched on and off connected textures, VB0s and many other settings, no difference. Below is the errors I get in console, they are a constant stream. You will see the thing that says shadow, the bug affects shadows and when I load a pack that has no shadows like SIldur water shader, the waving trees shader or the acid shaders I also have no problems and no errors in console.
Lastly I tried with both ASM and without, makes no difference. Curious what ASM does as the shader functions the same with our without it. Machine spec at the bottom.

So is there a way to change the install location of the shaders mod? My .minecraft folder is moved to a non-standard location through some batch wizardry to get it off my C Drive.

Mind you, I'm without 128 mods, but still -- something about the classic install that is refreshing..
I would like to confirm (did not see comments in the known issues list):
It is coming along great Karyonix! Keep up the good work :D!

You either need to roll back your Intel video driver to 3345, or upgrade to any of the latest 39XX drivers.
This is in the OP about 1/2 way down..
Turn off connected textures.

That doesn't work either. I think my computer has a custom built graphics thingy from acer, so the driver is not compatible. thanks anyway
You have to uninstall the drivers, reboot, and then install the new drivers. Acer doesn't make a "custom graphics processor."

i is an nub. if i unistall the graphic driver, wont that bug my screen or whatever?
No, Windows has a default driver that it uses when there isn't an official one.
