the textures are "supposed" to be in the correct direction. necessity is the mother of creation, it would NOT be that much trouble for you to have a version that works 1.7.2, its real easy, do the fix i showed you, then upload it and put it under the other bump-shadow-waving shaderpack in a spoiler. so people can have a working version. its really not asking that much at all.
sp614x's reply to me asking to fix the texture flipping-
Porting the bugfix for texture flipping from 1.7.4 to 1.7.2 with OptiFine is not trivial.
OptiFine 1.7.2 uses a custom version of the connected textures because of this bug. Fixing the bug in 1.7.2 will break the connected textures. Porting the connected textures from 1.7.4 to 1.7.2 is also not easy because in 1.7.4 they were extended and will most probably not work on 1.7.2 without some modifications.
ya i thought this sounded a bit ridiculous to.
I don't really care about connected texture.
If there is no 1.7.5 Optifine soon and no 1.7.4-1.7.5 Forge, I will make 1.7.4 ShadersMod, so it will be compatible with Optifine. But you can't use it with Forge mods if Forge is not updated.
This would not be a problem if Forge is updated.
We should not stick to 1.7.2.
Anyone experiencing lag issues for the AMD driver version 14.2?
Also, could anyone tell me the ideal set up to run shaders along with other mods.
My AMD Radeon 7970 struggles to reach 60 FPS on many shaderpacks with the Blocks 3D mod along with Optifine combined.
I lost a few fps using 14.2, but then I lost digital audio (unrelated) so I just did a system restore and went back to 13.11 B9.5
Same results for me with OF & Blocks 3D, on my 280X (basically same card).

I haven't had any time to test MC with Catalyst 14.2 on my 6950 yet..
I have it installed, but haven't tested anything.
I skipped 14.1 because of all of the issues that everyone was reporting. I was running 13.11 BETA 9.5 on my other computer and it was running great.
What problems are you having with mods? Just that when you add in a bunch it slows down too much? I haven't really had that issue on my box. There have been some mods that kill my system but that isn't graphical, it's a memory leak in the way it was coded. Most of the mods I used previously haven't ported to 1.7.X because the block/item structure is so different.
I can get you a list of my 1.6 and 1.7 mods if you want :).

oh jeez..man, im just asking for a link to the fix (that ive provided) so people can use my bump mapped texture pack... since there is no 1.7.4-1.7.5 forge. im sticking with 1.7.2 because thats what currently works.
I installed the mod the right way, double checked to see if it was right and didn't find anything wierd, but apparently i can't find the 1.7.5-ShadersMod2.4.0 version when creating the profile, does someone know why?

You messed up the .json file it seems. Double check for format errors.

I am using a shaderpack called v-4 low and v-4 medium. dont know who its by though.
This is a known bug, and I'm not sure if there is even a fix for it.
It happens on all shaderpacks, some more than others, but still happens none-the-less.
You happen to be using Chocapic's latest shaderpack, in which he has removed all SEUS code, and replaced it with his own -- plus added a few new features ;).
The light 'bleeding' that you are seeing isn't that bad, sometimes it shoots right through the outside 4 edges of blocks badly, though this is mostly if you are underground and looking directly in the direction the sun would be facing at that time.
and some people posted the same problem and they got an answer with a fix but that fix is not working for me
well if i load seus i get 3 errors
invallid program gbuffer textured (lit), composite and final and yes i tried to change line float timepow to 3.0 but in seus 10.1 is it 2.4 instead of 2.0 by default
and i also tried the v10
so do someone got a fix for me please give me it because i want to use shaders again
ow and my specs are w8.1 with i7 core and nvidia 635m i know light gpu but it runs it on acceptable fps even if its only 20 fps
thanks in advance seda
ps if u want u could send me a PM with the answer so i get it right away and then i can find it back when seus updates
The issue isn't the shaderpack itself, the timepow fix only applies to 'invalid program composite' on driver versions newer than 320.49.
The issue you are seeing is more driver related. Either the drivers you are running do not have support for some of the OpenGL instructions it is being told, or the GPU (your nVidia 635m) itself doesn't support them -- which would be bad because you cannot replace this in a notebook.
I would try updating your video drivers to 320.49 or newer.
Remember, if you go newer, you need to make the timepow fix to SEUS v10.0 or earlier. The fix is not needed on SEUS v10.1 Preview.
I played a little with the new AMD driver 14.2 and I don't get lag issues...I only discovered a small FPS boost, seems I get ~15-20 FPS more than before...now I'm possible to get 50 FPS and more thats really nice I play with a R9 270X which is a little bit overclocked but not so much, I think your one is better than my
I definitely have a problem. My 7970 can perform worse than your card.... (the 7970 is the un-rebranded 280x).
What settings do you have for MC (mods, video settings, ect)?
Additionally, can you put the META-INF back? I rely on the TweakClass manifest property to dynamically load tweaks. My loader is version independent so it can load tweaks from the mods folder on any version.

Wool isn't supposed to be transparent when in hand... Or at least, I don't think so. So if not, why is mine?

Edit: I should note that this happens regardless of resourcepack I use. Typically, I use ChromaHills, but in this picture, I'm using LB Photo Realism x32 10.0.0.
That's a bug due to the shader pack you are running.
There's nothing you can do for it, it's a bug of all those pack which are based on Chocapic's (RudoPlays, Sildur, et cetera).
