2.2.2 seems to solve my former issue, but now its even stranger.
Using the default resource pack: when I try to load the world I just jump back and forth between the main menu and the dirt loading screen at a blinding pace
Using a downloaded resource pack: I get into the world, but my shaders are really really bright and washed out and I have this strange black artifacting, where I can look in certain directions but not others. Its like... the borders of the screen aren't lined up with my monitor? Its hard to explain.Thoughts?

Perhaps you should try removing some of your mods. It is well known that Tinkers Construct and Optifine are incompatible (and I sure hope that you are using Karyonix's FML patch and renamed Optifine in MC 1.6.4!).

I was actually using ultra and cleared my .minecraft to make sure I had no other mods installed. Thanks for the tips though.
What video card, and driver version are you running?
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 640
Processor: Intel® Core ™ i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00 GHz
I just tried the 10.1 preview version of SEUS and it worked fine also. I have no Idea why the Ultra/Standard/Lite version of 10.0 version of SEUS won't work. Very weird.

I am using the patched Optifine, I will try removing TC next as I never use it anyway.
My specs are Nvidia GT 550M and i7-2720QM, I tried downing the drivers to your recommended version and nothing changed.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention. My shader makes entities kinda "bump" up and down independently with the rapidly bouncing ground. In 1.6.4, the chests and signs synced with the terrain, which is what I want, but in 1.7.2, they're now synced with the bumping entities, something I don't want.
Can't you just fix or adapt your code?
Whelp, I just tried fixing it, and there's nothing I can do. In 1.6.4, the chests and signs seemed to be affected by gbuffers_terrain.vsh, but now in 1.7.2 they seem to be affected by gbuffers_entities.vsh instead, even though they're blocks, and not entities...
Hello! This is my first time trying to run GLSL shaders, but it's not working. Minecraft launches fine, but when I try to load a world I will get this http://prntscr.com/2p19j8 or a flickering black and minecrafts dirt background screen. I have minecraft set on the lowest settings possible. I just deleted OptiFine from Minecraft because I thought it might be a compatibility issue, but no luck.
I downgraded from 1.7.4 to Minecraft 1.7.2, Forge 1.7.2 10.12.0.1023, and GLSL 1.7.2 and that's it. I believe I followed the installation instructions correctly.
This is my graphics card information: http://prntscr.com/2p1ax2
Is it possible to run GLSL shaders on my computer? What am I doing wrong? It's a 2009 Desktop.
If theres anything else you need to know, please tell me! Thanks in advance!
Randomly when I use shaders I get a bug where I can see through walls.
For example
My specs
Nvidia GTX 770
Windows 8.1
Forge version .1019
Optifine HD Utra C2
Sonic Ethers UnBelievable Shaders. 10.1 preview 1
Sonic's Shaders aren't fully compatible with Optifine yet. Try running the game without Optifine.
I think he's just having rendering issues. I'm running Optifine and I'm not getting the error.
Agreed, it's more like a Chunk Loading or Advanced OpenGL issue.
This does happen to me when I can't load chunks fast enough (flying around the world or whatever). My i7-2600K and i5-2500K are fast enough to keep up, but my notebook's i7-Q620 is a wee bit sluggish.
No shaderpacks selected, When I join the world the screen becomes black but I hear the sounds.

The Intel G41 Chipset is low end. You won't run any shaders on this besides Sildur's BASIC shaders and......
Paolo's Lagless Shaders!!!! Congratulations, you have the same low-end intel GPU as he does!
Here's this thread link. He gets 25-30 FPS on his shaders. http://www.minecraft...ll-video-cards/
And to be honest, Sildur's Basic and Paolo's lagless will be the only two shaderpacks you can even run.
Sildur's Vibrant, SEUS, Chocapic's mid, high, ultra, and extreme versions will probably not work on your intel card.
Oh yeah, same for MrMeep's v4 RC1 and previous versions.
If you want to compare this G41 chipset with other cards, here's the link. Your chipset is intergrated into your CPU, btw.
The G41 only scores a 60... My APU graphics scores a 918 and that runs shaders with only 15-20 fps minimized on advanced shaderpacks.
My Radeon 7970's score is 5,119, which is five times stronger (that doesn't mean five time the FPS, sadly). http://www.videocard...Express Chipset
Sorry. I guess I went for power when I got my computer. I tried devoting a terabyte of RAM to it :l Btw thanks for helping.

Your hardware specs are too low.
Try some low end shaders and Paolo's lagless shaders.
