I want to use the SEUS texture pack fix with the bump wave shader, for the lighting effects it adds. I just need to be able to adjust the sunlight and maybe the moonlight. It is currently way too dark during the day, I mentioned the same thing to Naelego in his forum. Might make a nice adjustable feature if features get built in again soon. You'll see what I mean in the pictures of Naelego's shader.
Hey EskimoNoise, I'm not sure if your helping with the GLSL shaders or maybe a friend of karyonix, but I didn't get a reponse. I'm not sure if you saw this or not, or if you'll see what I'm trying to point out, I like the moon/torch lighting. So I don't know what you think about it. If I could adjust the sun/moon brightness individually, I could make it look how I want. GLSL is awesome, thank you!
Is there any advantage to using the Naelego shaders over enabling cel shading in SEUS? Looks pretty cel shadery to me.
SEUS doesn't work well with my nVidia card, does sildur's nVidia shader have that option? I was thinking of using cel shaders as an alternate in case my FPS gets too low to play.
Here's a video of me with Sildur's nVidia shader and sixtygig texture pack, feel free to post it.
I think I only have one set of his shaders somewhere but as they're modified SEUS ones the cel shading option should still be in there
Just look in final.fsh for //#define CEL_SHADING and delete the //
Thank you, I will give that a try. I do think eventually having adjustable moon/sun might be nice, so that players with low quality shaders may have those cool lighting effects.
I just downloaded the latest Sildur v11 or something shaders and compared the framerate to the latest Chocapic v3 preview ones and Chocapic wins hands down for me.
Might be better for you if you're struggling to get double figures.
Ye I didn't focus that much on the framerate compared to Chocapic, since I've got 40-50fps at 1080p (1920x1080) Which is good enough with a GTX 560. Also don't forget the water reflections eats a bunch of fps.

Just a thought...I am not sure (as I haven't looked at the GLSL code, or know MC's code) but it seems the textures get "re-stitched" but in a different order. I noticed this when playing MC and caused it to crash. It wrote out a "re-stitched" spritesheet. Now if this is the case, then it "reads" the new stitched spritesheed as needed, so wouldn't this method apply to a "restitched" normalmap.png files? **Remember just a thought.
This contains all files needed to run shaders on 1.4.6/7 or 1.5.1 (if you want 1.5.2 you're out of luck because there isn't a version for 1.5.2 yet) http://www.mediafire...3pwrgts6dsbl9id
Sonic Ether said he plans to start updating the GLSL shaders so he doesn't need to be reliant on others.
IDK if karyonix still plans on working on this or not, but at least Sonic himself is working on it (it's taking him awhile because apparently he isn't that great with java yet)
Not sure why you'd want my world save but here you go, please bear in mind that I get bored/distracted very easily so there's lots of unfinished stuff http://www.mediafire...s3k1piub7i8i1sa
I'm with you there. I don't even know how I can even finish a dirt house.

I like using this mixed in with other mods like Mo Creatures and Fossil Archeology but I have a question: Do the shaders work in different dimensions from mods? For example: Dravite Hills from Divine RPG.
This is very off topic and I apologise, but people in this thread seem to be very switched on.
Im running a server thats roughly 1.5-2 years old. So you can imagine that for us to find emerald, or a jungle biome, we have to go on a exploring expedition that rivals Columbus or Captain James Cook.
it was brought to my attention today that it may be possible to update the map....or make a new map by using the same seed and everything that people have built on the server, and everything in their chests would be brought over....can this be done?
Basically what I'm asking, is this. Can I update my minecraft world so that all thew new stuff like emerald and what not is not so far away?

I don't know of any way to create a while new world while keeping buildings and chests, sadly.
Theoretically, you should be able to delete empty chunks in MCEdit, change their biome, and regenerate them. However, I have never attempted such a thing, and from what I have heard, it can be risky. You'd probably be better off just resetting the map, or set up a command block to warp people a fair distance from spawn into new chunks.

Edit: For some weird reason about 50 100 of you have download my world save so far.
A bit of feedback would be nice, even if it's just to say how much it sucks.

Hey Eskimo, where did you get that Map? Did you build it? If that's so, can you share it please? Looks Fantastic! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing it!
You gonna have to wait, karyonix is still working on it.
