Hello! I've got kinda a small problem. Right arms won't render no matter if I change packs or restart the game. Using Intel HD, game version '1.8'. Looking forward for a solution to resolve the problem. Thanks in advance.
Hello! I've got kinda a small problem. Right arms won't render no matter if I change packs or restart the game. Using Intel HD, game version '1.8'. Looking forward for a solution to resolve the problem. Thanks in advance.
Try changing the hand depth in the shader options to 0.0625 (or something like that).
And in addition, all of the text in the game is replaced with white boxes. This only happens when I run with shaders, it runs fine with OptiFine, which is the only other mod I use. Also, I use Faithful32.
So I updated my ATI Radeon HD 5700 series graphics card drivers to 8.850.0.0 from 8.752.0.0 in hopes i would fix some of the glitches I get when running shaders and maybe prevent half of them including glsl from crashing my computer completely. Now I can't reasonably run any shaders at all.
Keep in mind these are both the same shader pack with no changes except this driver update.
Before:
After:
Why updating my graphics drivers changed half of the blocks in the game to orange when I run any shader pack is beyond me. I don't have a bad graphics card or computer, I don't understand why shaders just don't work. Actually, if the shaders just didn't work that would be much better. I don't even have an error log I can show. When a shader upon loading crashes it freezes the game to the point where I can't even ctrl alt delete out and have to unplug my computer to get anywhere. And then this orange, the game works I guess so there's not a crash log, but it really doesn't work, not at all.
So if you have a recommended update in windows update for your graphics drivers and you think it might help you run shaders better, don't install it, you'll end up so enraged that the anger on your face will seep into the game. Learn from my mistake.
Let me know if you have any idea on how to fix this.
Thanks, after visiting the site I figured out how to fix everything and now I can run all those shaders I couldnt run before too. Everything works good now.
I love this mod, the main reason I still play minecraft, thanks!
I have 3 small problems, not sure whats at fault though. The direction I face sometimes turns some of the shadows off. Could it be the video card driver or video card, as it seems not everyone has this problem. I'm using MC 1.8, optifine D2, shadersmod 2.4.11, nvidia 780ti, geforce 347.52 drivers, java 8_40 64 bit. No other mods.
Also, the armour flickers when worn, as thought the texture is clashing with the player textures, and also the items in the inventory appear flat with no shading (the items in the item slot at the bottom are fine though)
Thanks again for a great mod!
Have you tried Optifine 1.8 HD U D1? That's what the latest ShadersMod 2.4.11 was built on.

Hrmm, non-forge?

Could also be because AF/AA are on, they typically cause other issues, but I've seen this too much to not mention it.
Need fuсking shaders for 1.8.3 Fuсking mojang add normal shaders in vanilla minecraft...
You'd have better luck asking LexManos or Searge for an answer. Both OF and ShadersMod are waiting on MCP or Forge to come along for 1.8.3 before updating.
ShadersMod adds shaders to Minecraft and add multiple draw buffers, shadow map, normal map, specular map. These things can be used to change appearance of Minecraft world. How it looks depends on selected shaderpack and some user settings.
This mod is derived from daxnitro's GLSL Shaders Mod.

I take it you haven't checked OF thread lately. sp614x has a habit of updating his own mappings for some versions since he doesn't need the full MCP.
Yeah, I just checked today....noticed he went ahead with starting A1-3 on 1.8.3.
sp614x had said that he was going to wait for MCP/Forge just like Karyonix..
Perhaps he changed his mind because Searge is basically saying he's not making MCP for 1.8.1-1.8.3 because they are just bug fixes. He's apparently waiting on 1.9 or something..
Why hasen't mojang added shaders natively seems like a basic feature to me ... go petition the dev thread that it must be a 1.9 request to have optional native shaders. (For obvious reasons you would use none by default because some cards are unhappy with shaders,)
I have a problem, i have optifine, Shaders mod, and Camera studio mod (im trying to make cinematics) and any shader pack i have installed and using after 10seconds-2minutes no chunks load my game is still working just white screen i can still move and when i tought the ground only one chunk loads
i have a video if you need it, im not going to post the link because i think i would get banned... and i've watched all videos on how to install these mods togeather and the people always have their chunks loaded
PLEASE HELP MEH

instead of the camera studio mod use the pixel cam mod it fixes a lot of bugs

Sorry, forgot to mention Forge.
I am using the standard Minecraft launcher, and I've now tried it without AA or AF, and there have been some changes. Now, instead of white boxes in place of text, Water and Lava have replaced numbers. The original problem of black-screen after loading a world still persists.
At this point, I think I may re-install Minecraft to see if I've inadvertently messed up something else.
UPDATE:
I've re-installed Minecraft, no problems. I got Optifine HD D1 installed, and the recommended Forge from the site installed with no problems. Everything's running fine with those two, but when I install Shaders Mod, lava and water continue to replace water, and when I load up a world, it black screens.
One more thing: After attempting to load into a world, the game outputs many lines of the following:
GL error 0x0502: Invalid operation at pre-final
Hi again, I'm having the same issue again. I'm running the nVidia GPU now and after about a day my fps slowly declined from 300 to 150 to 75 to 45 to 30. I tried adding ram, restarting and resetting the control panel and putting java back on it like you said and when I did that it declined from 150 to 30. Pls halp again, Ty!

Ok, make sure you are running the latest Forge. Karyonix has tested with 11.14.1.1339, and I can confirm that 11.14.1.1341 is working fine.
Also, if you are using a custom launcher, make sure you MANUALLY drop the Optifine 1.8.0 HD U D1 and ShadersMod 2.4.11 into the %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder.
There are known issues with Optifine not getting loaded correctly with MagicLauncher/MultiMC (these may be fixed, but as far as I am aware).
Sounds like you are running Intel graphics, make sure you are running the latest 39XX or 40XX drivers (the last 4 digits of the driver).
Can you post the following information from DXDIAG (start -> run -> dxdiag):
Alright. I'm running with the stock launcher from Mojang, so it's not anything to do with that ( Hopefully ).
System Specs:
CPU - Intel Pentium G3258 OC'd a bit
GPU - Nvidia GTX 770 Also OC'd a bit
RAM - 4GBs at 1600Mhz
Display Drivers - 9.18.13.4788 according to DXDIAG, 347.88 according to Nvidia control panel. Should be the latest.
And I am using only the one monitor, unfortunately.
As far as Forge goes, I'm running with 11.14.1.1334. I'll try it with 11.14.1.1341 and check back shortly.
UPDATE: So here I was, about to post that updating Forge hadn't worked, when I thought, "Oh, maybe a copy of the game output would be useful." I opened up the launcher, changed the settings to leave the launcher stay open after the game launched, and hit play. Lo and behold, no problems. No lava and/or water replacing numbers. World loaded up normally, and shaders appeared. Didn't change anything other than the settings in the launcher, and before that, only the update to forge that had previously done nothing.
TL;DR: It works now, with no explanation. Sorry for any trouble, and thanks for all the help!

Very strange, I've never heard of anything like that before, makes no sense at all....

Until someone ports this legendary mod I am leaving the minecraft scene. http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/ArchitectureCraft/#mozTocId598776 I have watched too many legendary mods die and carpenters blocks sudden fallout out of mainstream made me cry. I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.
