Hello I love this mod and all but I cannot get the portal ever to work for 1.7.10 i have seen people of youtube get the portal to work by making it like a nether portal but with mossy cobble but that doesn't work and for the beta of the newest version for 1.7.10 beta there is an portal that I can set down but it just shuts down my server why cant I go into the dino realm and go to their dimension.
The dimension just got readded, and is still a WIP.

Dead means that it isn't being worked on right now, which is kind of true. Everyone loves this mod. Most people, at least, though.

I have a few suggestions to make the mod better and more realistic:
1:In my opinion,barionyx should be less hostile,since his main preys where fishes,in my opinion,he should only attack you if you get too close to him,and not follow you trying to kill you.
2:make cryolophosaurus smaller,like the size of 2 horses,make spino bigger,barionyx slightly smaller,and make megalodon and tylosaurus way bigger.
3:Make massospondylus tamable and maybe even a mount. 4:Make barionyx attack squids(and guardians when uptaded do 1.8)
5:Megalodon will atack anithing on water,including other megs. 6:Make dromaeosaurus+troodon attack cows and pigs. 7:When the dimension is done,make spiders,cave spiders,squids,guardians spawn on it,but not any other regular mob.(also maybe add dragonflies and lizards that spawn both in the vanilla dimension and the paleo dimension.Rats and snakes also would be nice,and fishes,since well....it wouldn't make sense creatures that eat fish don't have fish.)
8-Also make the spinosaurus like the barionyx,only attacking if you get too close. 9-make compsognathus attack dimorphodons when hungry.
10-make a ''hunger'' system for dinos,basically after liek 5 minutes they will attack their prey(ex:barionyx,squid-compsognathus,dimorphodon,etc...)
or eat leaves.depending of the food the ''hunger will end faster.EX:if a barionyx attack squids,like 3 should do it.But if it's guardians,2 will do it.If a masso eat grass,6 will do it.But leaves will do in 4.Each dino has it ''favorite food'' that will recover hunger quicly.
11-make citipati tameable with seeds or eggs.

I only really have two issues to brings up with your post, SansMegalo, as most of what you said is personal opinion, so I needn't argue against it. These issues are with points 2 and 9.
As for 2, while I do not recall the exact sizes of any creatures in-mod, I do recall that they are all fairly massive. Megalodon, for whom there have been many conflicting size estimates, is, in my opinion, already given a generous size. Meanwhile, Tylosaurus, who you suggest should be far larger, seems to be at a perfectly fitting size from my recollection. You said that you want your suggestions to make the mod more realistic - well, I have the utmost faith in the Paleocraft team to make their mobs according to the latest scientific findings available. What is in mod now, therefore, is probably as close to accurate as they could get. I certainly would not want to see the aquatic mobs made "way larger."
Now, 9 is perhaps a more personal quarrel of mine. It simply seems unrealistic to me that Compsognathus would hunt Dimorphodon. How would they be expected to catch these flying beasts? It would probably end up being code which was never used, as Compsognathus cannot fly to hunt their suggested prey.
Anyway, as I said, the rest of your suggestions are your personal opinions, and to argue with them would be futile. I actually do agree with some of the things which you have suggested. I simply felt as though these two points should be argued against.

:PWelp,that's fine.Looking at it it would be really ankward a compy jumping like crazy to get a dimorphodon that is just kinda sitting on the branch of a tree and isn't even scared.Welp,but i do hope so some of them be added,dang,it would be the first time i actually helped a mod.Also now i'm imagining a secret code that make flying compys.Wow.
Love this mod! Better than any Dino mod out there! I'm anxious for wave 3 to come out. When is wave 3 coming out, please tell me! I also got beta 2 for the next update! It's awesome! Love the new spin model and texture!

We're working on updating, but it will be for 1.9 and up. There are some new features in 1.9 that make modding a little easier.

Here are a few suggestions:
1: Make the carnivores eat every Dino,exept pterosaurs, and sea creatures
2: Make the carnivores eat cow, sheep, pig, and chicken
3: for the dromie, citipati, and troodon make a jumping/attack animation
Oh yeah and love this mod! It's my favorite mod ever! I also have the beta 2 update
Well, I was going to make suggestions for the Dimorphodon, but OK.
Also, many of the small carnivores eat chickens. Big carnivores eat herbivores added to the mod.
Oh well um.. maybe the Dimorphodon can have a ground walking animation like the Quetzacoatlus.
And is the progress of the mod doing well? Just wondering.
I also forgot the massospondylus will despawn after not being near it for about 5 minutes in beta 2
