The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
After generating a new world, dynmap is spiking up my memory to ludicrous levels, stalling out the server and crashing it for RAM overload. I've purged the queue for the world and even uploaded all the web tiles from my local dev environment, but still nothing. Is there some cache that needs clearing?

I have Dynmap working perfectly on my server via the flatfile storage. Now I am wondering if using MySQL database is better than using the flatfile storage. I have a perfectly working MySQL service on the same server.
What do you think? What are the advantages using one or the other storage scheme?
I have a particularly large world map, meaning I have a LOT of image files to make up its DynMap. I've rendered the whole world on the lowest possible settings, but even still there's just so many files. I want to know if there's a way I can restrict the Dynmap to one or two zoom levels, so that I am creating less files and therefore less clutter. My map currently has 6 levels, and through experimentation I've managed to get it down to 1 zoom level: The most zoomed in one. I'd like to make it so that you can't zoom in, but the default view is 5 or 6 steps out. That would really save me a lot of hassle. Thanks!
I am wondering if you can do a plugin similar to plotsquared but for areashop plugin... it uses regions but it also would be helpful to help players identify by map of which is already bought and what not instead of runnin around.
