So I'm using the Dynmap plugin for a paper server. I can see when using localhost:8123 or my computers ip:8123. But I can't see when using my public IP that I got from what's my IP. People can log on to the server using that IP but they can't see the map. Is there any fix for this? In the configuration file I have put both port and webserver-port as 8123 is that how it should be? When portforwarding it said that I could use an internal and external port which one should be 8123? Sorry for so many questions I have been having a lot of trouble with this.
There was a file that was issued called "Dynmap Mod Scraper", you COULD try using that, it apparently works for most if not all mods, it was linked in the main post.
I want to know that too. Thats my only problem with it and no where in the internet is a solution for this.

I'm having an issue where when I reboot my server my dynmap configuration becomes altered. Not everything is reset however, just the quality of the "deftemplatesuffix: vlowres". It goes from hires to that after every single reboot. My process is as follows. Stop the server, pull the file down, update the config to hires, upload the config, start the server. Now it immediately goes back to vlowres when I open the config. What would be doing this? Is there something I can do?

I have everything working in my config file and it shows the fullrender having completed in my console, the plugin looks like everything should be working perfectly; but when I go to the IP:Port address in my browser all I get is a black screen. I've seen where others have had a black screen with the compass superimposed over the "map" however I don't even have that. All it shows is a black screen, to make sure I have tried clearing my cache and doing /dynmap fullrender in both the console and in world twice and I'm still having this issue.

Is there any way to get the renderer to get areas that havent been visited by players instead of appearing as black on screen?

I don't believe so, I think there was a website that used to use the world seed and MC version number to show a basic map of what the terrain would come out like, but dynmap renders where players have explored, not the unknown yet.

Probably old by now, but if you haven't gotten this sorted or for anyone else stumping onto this post with the same issue, you can pregenerate more area than has actually been explored. This will take a long time (depending on how much you pregen, and will need to do a full render again.
I used a mod called pregen from Curseforge to generate a 250 x 250 chunk area, which took forever and then Dynmap had to render 10,000+ tiles, so it also took a while.
Hello, almost had both the flat and surface maps of my world rendered after 5-6 days of rendering 24/7, and today randomly it all just deleted itself. No errors in console, on 1.16.1 with latest Dynmap download from Spigot. It kept rendering after it deleted everything, for example, just received the message "Full render of map 'surface' of 'world' in progress - 1268700 tiles rendered (117.16 m/sec/tile, 90.20 msec per render)" and that has caused the surface map to look like this:
Whereas the flat map is just completely blanked as it has not continued to render the map.

@shadowqueen639 check server logs. Check browser dev. tools. Perhaps, something can't be loaded.
Hi, I'm having an issue where http:/ip-address-of-server:8123/ is directing me to someone else's dynmap.
It's definitely the ip of my server, so I'm a bit weirded out by this.
