Yes i do know those 5 lines i will probably do a pull request
Are you not permitted to publicly say what those 5 lines are, and the changes needed? I don't know much java, but I know enough to make the changes and compile for myself.

This has probally been asked but 125 pages is a bit much to go thrown and find the answer XD. But, I have a question about vanish players on the map. I can get their name to grey out and head off the map when vanished, but i cant get their name off the list at all, including myself. How do i get this fixed?
Wanting them on the list and map when not in /v but off the list and map when in /v

Dynmap and towny aren't working right together i think when it comes to town/nation and staff chats? is this a bug or was it not made to hide these chats? I type in staff chat and anyone viewing dynmap can read it..
I did quite a bit of searching without much luck before coming here, so I don't know if this is possible :3
I run a modded server with some 140+ mods, put together into a modpack by a friend of mine. We are currently running a modified version of cauldron with forge for 1.7.10, and dynmap seems to work great for the most part - except for missing textures from some of the mods. A few examples of this are rubber trees from minefactory reloaded, and almost all textures in the aether, simply show up as invisible (but their shadows render instead) This is an example of the issue.
Is it possible to add textures from the mods into the dynmap textures? And if so, how would I go about doing this? The most useful thread I've found is this guide on texture definition files, but doesn't explain where this textures.txt is actually placed.
Something to note is that some mods' textures do load on their own, whereas some others do not. Not sure why this is.
In the opening post of this thread please read the following section to get your answer and a solution: DynmapModScraper

HappyDiggers is a small Minecraft community with several different servers: Adventure, Arena PvE, Feed The Beast, Skyblock, Small World, Towny, Prison, Vanilla and Snapshot.
i'm not sure what i did wrong, but after making sure the port is forwarded i get a timeout instead of seeing dynmap when i go to the address of the server using either the localhost:8123 link, the internal ip and port, or the external ip and port.

24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.

try just using the internal IP to connect without the port number, only outside your network will you require the port number.

yep, honestly from what i understand i think the problem is either with the dynmap internal webserver configuration (not sure which is correct for mineos) or the worlds.txt file, should i still see the webpage address as up but with a blank map or what in case that is misconfigured?
i had thought it shouldn't need anything changed in the worlds.txt as the OP says but i'm really starting to suspect that's not at all the case.

can someone post a completely filled out worlds.txt would help a lot by the way, if nothing else it would help me understand how to edit it manually and let me figure out if that's the problem or not, anytime i try to edit it manually i get a lot of errors that sound like a script compiler got the wrong syntax telling me a line and column start of the problem as well as the same for end.
i honestly wonder if i'm just uncommenting the wrong things in the worlds file, not really sure.

There is no need to change Dynmap config to get it to show up on it's default port. What you should do is provide some basic information so people don't have to guess at what might be the problem.
Which Minecraft server are you using? Spigot / KCauldron / Sponge / etc
Which version of Dynmap are you using? See opening post.
Does Dynmap load at all? Can you use Dynmap commands in game? What do the server logs tell you? Post them on http://paste2.org and link here.

forge on mineOS (latest forge, MC 1.7.10), the latest from mike primm's build server, unsure, yes from the console haven't tried from the client though, they appear to work normally.
it seems to function just fine although i never see the dynmap message i used to about starting the web server and all that in the console when the server starts up and also the webpage to view the map doesn't load, logs here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15202233/

Ahhh!!! Thank you, sir! I love you, in a very manly way. In a way that motivated me to donate $20 for your efforts. I love this addon.

Hello there! I was wondering are you going to make a version of Dynmap for 1.9 when it releases? Thanks in advance
i'm not sure what i did wrong, but after making sure the port is forwarded i get a timeout instead of seeing dynmap when i go to the address of the server using either the localhost:8123 link, the internal ip and port, or the external ip and port.

The Valley 1.12.2 is available on Curseforge here: The Valley 1.12.2
The Valley 1.20.2 is available at this IP: thevalley.noip.me:25567 (NOW BEDROCK COMPATIBLE!)
yeah, as i said originally, internal, external, or the localhost all produce identical results.
oh, without the port number, yeah, just checked, same result.

is the port open on the firewall of the PC?

Are there future plans to update Dynmap to be compatible with 1.9?
Does it support 1.9?
That doesn't make sense to me, there are many plugins already supporting 1.9, but whatever.
