I don't know if this is a bug or what, but I would greatly appreciate any help! There is a Prison Server that I play on occasionally, and the chat is messy. Like, REALLY messy. I downloaded the LiteLoader 1.7.10 development version of the mod because I was anxious to get this chat cleaned up a bit, and this happens:
On the server, next to your name it says how many blocks you have mined, and TabbyChat keeps seperating every single player into tabs because of that. I looked up tutorials, I tried every option, and it will not stop. I even turned the mod off, but unchecking TabbyChat Enabled just resets it, it doesn't turn it off. Any help? I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could help me solve this problem
Either you can disable channel tabs, or add a pattern to "Ignore channels" that specifies any channel that consists of numbers only. But someone has to help you with that pattern.
That's unfortunate. I would really love a feature like that to be added, because global chat from the [Towny] server goes to my global tab, but so do messages from the towny plugin which start with [Towny] as well, but different colours than the global chat prefixes.
Is there a way to only pick up messages that start with a certain phrase?
All you really have to do is change the constructor for ScaledResolution from (Minecraft, int, int) to (GameSettings, int, int), and change the build script to use 1.7.2. There is a public field in the Minecraft class you will use for GameSettings.
I think this is either a gradle issue or an issue on Mumfrey's end. ForgeGradle uses http://dl.liteloader.com/versions/versions.json to find the latest version of LiteLoader. Unfortunately, the latest 1.7.2_05 has no mcp jar, which is required By gradle. Take it up wit AbrarSyed or Mumfrey.
Sorry for the double-post but where's the constructor code? Tried searching both versions for ScaledResolution, (Minecraft, int, int) and (GameSettings, int, int) and none of them turned up anything which I'd think I can change.

This is just an issue of now knowing java. A constructor is called whenever a new object is created. The code I use to make a new ScaledResolution object in 1.7.10 is this:
Minecraft mc = Minecraft.getMinecraft();
ScaledResolution sr = new ScaledResolution(mc, mc.displayWidth, mc.displayHeight);
In the TabbyChat source, the ScaledResolution constructor is used in a few places. I can't name them, but you should just be able to search for ScaledResolution to find them. Otherwise, the compiler will tell you where they are when they error.
If you're trying to do a base edit, it won't work; the file isn't added as a resource pack; This is one of the reasons I stopped support for base edits.

i.e. put this: "&fWhite&4Red&dPink" into a tab of its own.
On another note, is it possible to "close off" tabs that you don't want? Things with etc.? One of my servers sometimes does player-chat in that way, and when it loads up the history, it gets quite clogged.
Thanks!
You can ignore tabs in the server settings. It's a comma separated list.

So you can. And delete, and all that other fancy stuff - just had to figure out how to get to the menu.
Thanks again.

You would use an IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ), but any text editor will do. The buildscript is build.gradle.

The 1.6.4 version wasn't ported to FML yet and ModLoader hadn't been updated, so it was never released for 1.6.4. Use the liteloader version instead.
Standalone means it doesn't require any additional mod.
