Are there any ways to get EVERYTHING that's in the game, and dump it into the Tome? I've tried /ee3 player-learn-everything but I couldn't figure it out even after looking through the mod code.
Why would I need such a thing? Basically, I've already played enough to have learnedso much that it would take days to fill it up again manually... But the save I played on died, and my partner doesn't want to play from zero. So I've decided to go the other way, and take out the stuff that we don't yet have, not the other way.
Not really that I'm aware of, but a suggestion is to put a hopper on the table and a chest of the things you want to learn on top of it .

I tried doing this with a line of hoppers and a dozen tables. It took so long for everything to process that all the hoppers filled up.

I don't write long comments often, because I prefer to say what I mean without excess. Please do not assume this means I have little to add to a conversation.
Surprisingly, it didn't take that much time for me. Possibly because I was sending in stuff at the same time as the table was scanning it, and so while I was searching, the table had time to clear it up a bit.

"Where there is light, shadows lurk and fear reigns... But by the blade of knights mankind was given hope"
will you add building and mass terrain clearing tools, like previous EE had?
I believe those will be added back. Dark Matter is assuredly coming back, and at least... 7 more matters are being added as well, with armour and tools to go along with them.
I know that not all mod authors added in a list with EMC values for their mods' items, and that EE3 also calculates values from the values of its ingrediënts. So how then is it that some mod items that are made from strictly vanilla stuff have a value, and others don't? And how come I have like 5 mods that add copper, all recognised by the ore library as such, but still only one of them is recognised by the Tome? It looks a bit random and I'm trying to understand how this works and if there is anything I can do to fix this!
This mod is amazing! I'm so glad it's out there! I have an idea, what if you could use the EMC in a minium/ philosopher's stone and chalk circles to manipulate the environment? Like, making bridges, or freezing water, a repairing circle (that repairs tools or anvils, or just being able to use a circle (without ash infused stone) for simple transmutations! It just might be a cool feature to add FMA (Full metal alchemist) style alchemy to this mod.
Wait this mod is based on Full metal Alchemist isn't it?
It's primarily based on alchemical fiction, there has been plenty of lore building over the years from numerous authors of fantasy and even science fiction and I'm pretty sure Pahimar has been dipping into that a lot considering I'm seeing a few namedrops here and there in some of the WIP items.
So yeah there might be a reference or two to that anime series, but it's not the only source for this type of fiction.
To be honest I've kinda stopped using this mod for anything other than the chests.
Once you've learned to scan diamonds or even nether stars it's pretty much game over, you'll never need to really do much of anything ever again if you can hook your EE up to an automated tree farm or even a mob grinder linked to a Blaze spawner.
You're pretty much set for life at that point.
For the sake of immersion (so we don't have to alt-tab to the GitHub), would you consider adding an in-game start item (akin to OpenBlocks' book) to let players know what they need to do to get started with EE?
is there a reason that the EE3 transmutation table is a 3x3 multiblock instead of a single block thing? also, will the transmutation tablet be returning?
This is a great mod, and finally that nasty duplication bug is fixed. Sure, it's overpowered, but who cares? Anyways, I have one question. What is your opinion on ProjectE? Does the mod have/need permission from you or x3n0ph0b3? Is it simply a ripoff or are you glad to see some sort of a continuation of EE2?
Also, great work on the mod. Have a metaphorical cookie

When is this thread going to be updated?
Check out my YouTube channel: youtube.com/user/BentheHun1
Pretty sure it'll be updated the same time as Xycraft's thread. At least Pahimar is updating on Curseforge.
Wait this mod is based on Full metal Alchemist isn't it?
There are little traces here and there, but no.
It's primarily based on alchemical fiction, there has been plenty of lore building over the years from numerous authors of fantasy and even science fiction and I'm pretty sure Pahimar has been dipping into that a lot considering I'm seeing a few namedrops here and there in some of the WIP items.

I have a glitch with my minecraft that when I shut my game and reload my world, all the energy exchange is gone.
Hello mod creator! I just want to let you know I'm using your mod in my mod pack InsanityCraft:

still looking forward to this mod. please don't let it die
It's not going to die. The activity is on Pahimar's github now rather than here.
Request:

Please report this on Pahimar's github. Secondly, update your EE3 version. You're really far behind.
