I still consider him a friend, and don't want him getting hatemail/etc. He still has yet to speak to me however.
Last night left me questioning why I do this all, but I committed to finishing EE3 and I will do so. If you watch GitHub you will still find me active there.

At a boy Pahi! Don't let people get ya' down :). Hopefully you don't lose the drive to create, and distribute this fantastic creation of yours. If you do, though, I'm sure most people would understand, even though they wouldn't want you to. Keep up the good work here, mate, thanks for everything :D.

Thank you. Hope to see your conflict resolved peacefully!
Also, once you get a mod version out for 1.5, README will follow
Once again, I see that my posts have been taken the wrong way, as with many other forums out there that I've used in the past, so I'll re-phrase my post.
I get that this is a pre-release, albeit a next to useless one, and I see that it has a lot of potential, but the fact that EE2 is supposed to just be forgotten instead of updated (even in a nerfed state) is just unbelievable on the part of the mod creators. My previous post was about having both be updated by both people, but since both of them see it as more of a griefing tool than a fun mod that, though potentially OP, can be used to complete the game faster. I understand that this mod (EE3) will eventually be great, but I think that making a new creation to eventually be great is actually a worse idea than taking a great creation and making it better, even if you make it less powerful. Hopefully i won't get flamed, raged at or hated upon for saying this, but I just think that making EE2 less OP but updated would have been a better call than making a new mod to be released as a pre-release of a great mod. If the core functions of this pre-release were in place, I'd have not commented in this manner at all, but they aren't. So, once again, if you agree with me, good for you and thank you. But if you don't, then i feel sorry for you not seeing the truth that lies in these words.
Halo out. Now go craft some epicness with what all the mods, such as this, EE2, or any other mod, has to offer.
Also, sorry if I use too much punctuation. It's just what I do.

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion but damn dude modding is a hobby, if you are feeling you have lost your enjoyment of modding, stop forcing yourself to continue when you are not enjoying the creative process. It can only lead to burnout for you and a mod that is a hurried incomplete bug ridden mess for us, not knocking your skills as a dev, just stating that if something you do in your spare time feels like a chore you won't feel as driven to put in the 30 hours to find that last damn bug.
Put development of the mod on hiatus and ask someone (or do it yourself, whichever) to maintain version compatibility (mostly so you can easily pick up development again if you desire to, without having to update first) but don't force yourself to work on something that should be an enjoyable passtime. Like I said probably an unpopular opinion but screw it you feeling driven by a commitment in a hobby is not something any rational (or even irrational) fan of your mod (or rather the potential of this mod) should consider even slightly within the realms of reason.

Upvote for you cause I agree. Pahi needs a break. Screw everyone, it's a hobby not a job.
I wish EE2 was 1.4.6/1.4.7 so we could goof around with that while we wait for EE3 to turn into what it's going to turn into. There's just not enough here right now for me to consider it useful or entertaining.

I am also concerned about the Minium Stone not recognizing mod wood like those from Extrabiomes XL and Twilight Forest. That would likely require Forge queries on wood or log.
It's not a lost cause, however. Logs can always be broken down into a common material, sticks, that can then be acted on by minium, albeit at a high cost to the stone. To that end, Thermal Expansion's sawmill can help also. Perhaps the stone can be made to support Unbreaking enchantments that won't get lost when the stone is used?
Kwintersbite has a autocrafting system in place to do just that, all the way to diamond. Xycraft's fabricators are now publicly available for this purpose as well. I would likely stop at obsidian for a bit as I need it for Xychorium plate to build with.

In some older versions of the Enchanting Plus mod, any items that had a damage rating could be enchanted with unbreaking, though in the past couple of releases, that has removed. Either way though, the unbreaking enchantment works as expected with the minium stone to extend its lifespan. You can still get it on the Minium Stone with Enchanting Plus, if you turn the Strict Enchantments option off.
The 1.5 update isn't really a big deal, nor is it a really good update.
Well, at least nor for regular minecrafters. Map makers will probably have a lot of fun. For modders it just adds a few new items to use in recipes and a different way to texture items and blocks.

We really can't do much if both mod authors decide to forget about it.

I'm aware it's ee3 but isn't that stuff the whole point of equivalent exchange anyway, the flying rings the mass production of diamonds I mean i expect some changes but why can't we keep the good stuff?
Mass production of diamonds? Make a pile of minium stones, set up autocrafting tables with wood piped in from a forestry farm. Easy enough. (you need a minium stone in the crafting table as well as one in an adjacent chest to make this work, pipe your resources into the chest).
I have a setup similar to this right now. It uses multifarms, sends all the saplings to make biofuel, the apples to make apple juice to make biofuel faster, the sand gets used for an induction smelter and spilloff gets autocrafted back into dirt with a minium stone and refed into the system, and the wood gets morphed through a series of crafting tables from wood > obsidian > iron > iron blocks > gold blocks > diamond blocks (minium stones last longer that way instead of transmuting individual ingots). Get most of the minium shards I need from a mob grinder, pick up the rest while exploring.

Thanks. I'm gonna sound like an idiot now, but what will i have to do?
Scratch that. EE3 is currently using stuff that isn't build-compatible-it has some stuff that isn't even in Forge yet, and it's build script doesn't work. If you want more detailed information, this is why.
While I do agree with you for the most part, there are a few things you need to consider. Updating a mod from 1.2 to 1.3 was apparently very difficult for mod developers, and updating it 2 updates later than that would be even more difficult. Also, considering how much will be changed/removed from EE2, it makes more sense just to start coding the mod from scratch again.
Pahimar, there's a reason why people are liking this post. Continue this mod if you enjoy doing it and put it aside if you don't. I can't say I'd blame you with how inconsiderate so many people are about the developement. I'd love to see you finish it because I have complete trust that the finished product would be awesome, but you don't have to feel obligated to continue a hobby. Regardless of your decision, thank you. It's something that we don't tell you enough. We do appreciate all the effort you put into your mod.

Little late there buddy...
Don't worry, I'll put up a build tonight. Might be unstable though

A "build" is basically me doing this:

Then I just put it on Github and copy/paste the link here.
