Condensers gone.
Dark matter gone.
Energy collectors gone.
EMC gone.
Why did you have to remove it all?
Now I feel that this mod has deleted everything people used.
At first this mod was good, then it got better and better but now it is (in my opinion) rubbish.
Condensers and energy collectors are going to replaced by something, dark matter isn't gone, and EMC is not going to be removed, it's just not functional in the prereleases yet... We are just going to have to wait and see how good the actual release of EE3 is going to be.

I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.
Alright you Tekkit asswipes, I'm not sure who granted you the right to judge someone's work and bash him for removing features of HIS work but you're wrong here, go back to your tiny little forum to moan around, troll and cry. Nobody here wants you, especially not with your 'ooo i miss that stuff and that stuff, this mod is so bad now' bunch of crap.
- cut for space -
You ever get the feeling there's a post somewhere on the Tekkit forums that's telling people to come over there to this forum to troll and vent their rage?
I rarely used the Energy Condenser anyway, but I DO hope to see is a version of the transmutation tablet (I would always make the portable version as soon as I could afford to) so as long as you keep TT in (which if my memory serves me right Pahimer said he would add an equivalent to it) I will be happy. Cannot wait for full version but I guess I'll have to *tear* oh well keep up the good work Pahimer!!!

First off, stop writing like that black on white crap, if you're out on hurting people's eyes in combination with your of nonsense you better leave. Another of you Tekkit idiots, cut the damn trolling and LEAVE. F-u-c-k your EE2 love, this is EE3. 'Put your ideas into a different mod' are you retarded? Pahimar can do whatever he pleases to, do your own 'Equivalent Exchange OP2' if you so want it.
Nobody here will support any of you complainers.
Because it's a whole new damn release, the 3 stands there for a reason! Be on your way then if you don't like it, nobody will cry after you.
I'm really just as elated as x3n0 to see those 'Tekkit' fans go away, couldn't be more delighted after seeing THESE posts. But really, it's those kids that use Tekkit, the developers are a totally different kind, they WANT to see it balanced just like Pahimar does.
Finally, IF, only IF Pahimar ever considered updating EE2, you guys will definitely made him scrap that idea, the amount of stupidity supplied by the recent Tekkit babies has majorly contributed to the whinery which has been seen many times in here, well done! Congratulations, you're bashing an improvement for a Minecraft mod and want a 'survival creative mode' like mod back for it because the game was obviously too hard for you!Not to mention how many NEW recipes you must learn! Horrendous (irony off) Cut that crap before I drive nuts on every on you.
I play Tekkit but I am also excited to see the great improvements that will come in EE3. What does that make me?
I logged in to say, I'm really curios to see what the new systems you mensioned are. I was really, really, REALLY, dissappointed to see we're loosing condensers, collectors, and dark matter. I have a set up of 3 teir 3 Collectors, and a condenser farming myself some diamonds ( hooked up to a Antimatter Relay ) I love my set up, i'm going to be sad to loose it. It better be good, but honestly it probably will be regardless. good luck!
I would like to first of all point out that Balkon's More Weapons mod is larger than Equivalent Exchange. Why?
I would also like to point out to those who bash EE for being automatic should go take a long hard look at their so called "science rigs." Check if your factory works without equivalent exchange.
The whole point of Tekkit (yes, I know, ignore this part if you play outside of tekkit) is to automate. To mechanize. To take away the need to harvest yourself. I quote the website here, "The Technic Pack includes lots of mods that add machines and improve automation, with the end goal of mechanizing your entire world." Automation you say? With what, a philosophers stone? An inert stone? The other, what, six items in EE3? EMC isn't coming back, folks, and realistically, that's what EE3 was based on. My personal solution. Pahimar, explore these ideas that I could very well like in a different mod. Slap a new name on it, and make it something else. Because EE3 is just a whole different mod than Equivalent Exchange. Equivalent Exchange is based on the theory of everything having a value. Being able to transmute! We can't do that anymore. Sure, Iron into Gold, Gold into diamonds, but that's it! I understand there's more to it than that, but not by much! Keep equivalent exchange standing for EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE! Not this newfangled wiring nonsense! Make a different mod, put you other ideas in there, and bring my beloved EE2 back to me. - To those of you who will immediately tag me one of those "Excitable little kids with red matter," I dub thee "One of those scientists who can't bear it when there beloved macerator can't keep up with my power flower." Magic is more powerful than science. Duh.
You could just be missing the lack of items in EE. Other than that, I don't know. Sorry I couldn't help, I'm not much of a techie.
Where did you hear that EE3 isn't having an EMC value system? It says on the front page that there will be a different system of EMC transmutation.
Try not to educate those that don't want to read the OP, you're just burning daylight and, in all fairness, what people who complain about the removals are really missing is the bigger picture.
The new features that are already in EE3 are downright sexy.
The overlay on the philosopher's stone, the new GUI elements, the infrastructure that's being added for cross mod support and compatibility [and expansion!], the nerfs [which many of us consider good], the buffs [dark matter, IMO, always looked cooler than red matter anyway], the removals (if it's overpowered, removed, if it's useful and cherished, it's being repurposed to fit the new system - condensers and transmutation tablets are a great example) - just because some items aren't makin a reappearance isn't a reason to balk.
Is anyone going to miss the Zero ring? Is anyone going to miss the mess the volcanite makes when you fire it at an ocean?
I would honestly say the stuff that's staying in is the classic awesome stuff everyone loves *the most*. The stuff that's being removed might be icing, sure, but I don't understand why nobody's homing in on all the icing Pahimar is adding to the stuff that already exists, thus making it 1000x cooler, and the mod more stable as a whole. The bukkit considerations, the server considerations, the permissions extensions, all of the code behind that really make EE3 solid - EE2 ain't got it.
What I read, basically is "this mod is going downhill because content is being removed" but I'm not seeing enough "this mod is really going to shine because infrastructure is being added" - trust, the content will be there. I think people who are making judgment calls are really jumping the gun.
Edit: as an addendum I'd also like to point out that nowhere in the OP's list of removals and changes does it say that "EE3 completely abandons all potential abilities to automate or otherwise factorize alchemy processes" - I don't know where on earth that came from. I also don't understand how people could jump to the conclusion that Equivalent Exchange will no longer be "Equivalent" - It's still Equivalent, with the relatively minor difference that now the act of transmutation itself has a price. Is that really SO unfair? I think that's a fine balance mechanic, and one that most people would scarcely notice if they gave the mod the opportunity to impress them.
I haven't posted because I haven't seen the need too, but Pahimar is doing excellent on EE3. He should definitely keep it up. I look forward to every new commit to Github :)!

A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
What I read, basically is "this mod is going downhill because content is being removed" but I'm not seeing enough "this mod is really going to shine because infrastructure is being added" - trust, the content will be there. I think people who are making judgment calls are really jumping the gun.
Well, most of us don't really see the infrastructure, so it's a bit hard to comment on it. And I personally haven't been posting much because I didn't see a point. There's nothing really gained telling the children to stop whining about the changes to the mod, because they're children and don't listen. I haven't been commenting on new stuff added because I'm still on the earlier version, so I haven't tested it. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that position.
So, of the reasons people post:
1. to complain - I like what's happening, why complain? Besides, complaining is pointless.
2. to yell at the complainers - again, pointless
3. ask questions - I don't have any at the moment. I might once I update again.
4. encourage Pahimar - well, I could do more of that, but he doesn't need pointless flattery either.
So, I haven't posted.
However, since I'm here... it's looking great so far, Pahimar. I can hardly wait to see what comes next.
I mean, yeah, it was over the top but the meaning still stands. Modpack users aren't intrinsically bad. The issue at hand is modpack users inherit a sense of entitlement from their respective communities and think they "own" the mods at hand, that their demands are important and their opinions matter. Without sounding completely brash about the subject, I want to emphasize that user opinion doesn't necessarily matter. It can, and often does. We take suggestions, we appreciate criticism, we utilize the desires of the user to the best of our ability, but we make decisions on the final result by gut and public forum alone. Usually our gut has more weight than public opinion.
To put it succinctly, Pahimar has more guts than I do. He doesn't have the inherent character flaw of bending over backwards to immediate public demand which causes people to create things which others find abhorrent. At the risk of sounding anything like Flowerchild, sometimes people don't actually know what they want. They think they know, they ask for what they think they want, and often define the implementation in which they would like to see it in vivid detail.
When they finally get what they ask for, they don't always like it. Conceptual understanding of the design you imagine is a skill. This is an open forum where any kid can join and trash/upvote a mod, make suggestions, give good and/or bad criticism.. etc.
No post by forum members including the word "Tekkit/et al" should be taken at face value because the only representatives here who can be verified are the respective modders in their threads. Everything else is pure conjecture.
tl;dr - don't judge tekkit users by the few that post here. When an ungrateful member of the tekkit community comes here with "beef", let it slide. Their wrath is premature and unwarranted and you do Pahimar and I no good service by setting it ablaze.
Edit: What I'm trying to say is, more importantly, don't incite a Tekkit-hate-fest. Not all Tekkit users are knob jockeys. Some of them are super cool and get into modding because of Tekkit. They didn't know x or y and Tekkit introduced them to a new world of Minecraft. Yes, it's the apocalypse. I'm extolling the merits of modpacks, in general. Don't start burying a whole demographic just because of a few rude guys on this thread.

Honestly... quite the same reasons I stopped posting as well. I check the thread for any progress. If someone is having issues, and I know how to fix then, I'll post, or if I see some news on pahs streams I'll share it here if it hasn't been.
But as you said, there is no point to respond to the ignorance and self entitlement that occurs on this thread. Been following this thread since the initial release of the pre. Responded to many of the initial post that were down right nasty and ignorant. But after awhile, why bother? Ignorant people are ignorant. End of story. It's best to move long, report the ludacris and discuss something when it is relevant. Be a fan by showing your appreciation when the opportunity arises, and taking part in practical conversation when able. Don't feed the trolls. They'll keep coming back. Let there post fade into obscurity Don't bother with those who can't even read the OP. If they so clearly complain about DM being removed, and can't even see that it isn't from the OP, let them drown in their ignorance. If a question (that isn't answered in the OP) arises that has been answered before , and somewhat recently, move on (if it's been awhile, feel free to answer, but don't be an ass about it, not everyone has time to read through several pages for a simple question).
I will add one correction though, is it seems to be a common misconception. Collectors will not return in a form what so ever. At all. Just for those who have been saying they will eventually make a return. And, EE2 will not be updated, at all, ever. Though Pah should maybe change the OP to reflect that. He has mentioned several times on his twitter and streams, but I can see the confusion if one was to only base the information in the OP, as it hints at the possibility.
That is all I will ever say about that. It has been said many times, but it seems to have been lost in confusion over time.
For those interested in viewing the infrastructure of the game, and don't understand code (thus looking at the source on github is difficult to understand) try viewing pahs streams every once in awhile. He codes and explains the purpose of code (which I honestly don't pay attention to, I'm not interested in coding what so ever, my interests lies within the visual arts), and also shows some of the in-game application of upcoming mechanics and items he is working on, as well as the visual aspects of the mod which he is trying to push (which I am interested in seeing .) Honestly, he is working quite hard to make the visual of the game/mod "fancier". It's the things like that that make a game, or mod, feel polished and thought out.
I am certain that Pahimars vision of how this mod will play will be fun and interesting, I also gave up on the whiny little biatchs that infest this thread, I just report and ignore them now.

Ok, so let me get this straight, you're saying that EMC is what it's based on, but it's not coming back. News flash, you're contradicting yourself.
