What is the chalk for? And all of those things were craftable in the .38 build. Are the recipes still disabled or will they be enabled soon?
Well, they were taken down due to dynEMC, so I'm gonna hazard a guess and say dynEMC is almost done. Very hazardous guess, and I'm testing it right now.
In order to begin an alchemical transmutation, a symbol called a Transmutation Circle (錬成陣, Renseijin) is necessary. A Transmutation Circle can either be drawn on the spot when a transmutation is necessary (in chalk, pencil, ink, paint, blood or even traced in dirt) or permanently etched or inscribed beforehand, but without it, transmutation is generally impossible and all Transmutation Circles are made up of two parts:
The circle itself is a conduit which focuses and dictates the flow of power, tapping into the energies that already exist within the earth and matter. It represents the cyclical flow of the world's energies and phenomena and turns that power to manipulable ends.
Inside the circle are specific alchemical runes. These runes vary widely based on ancient alchemical studies, texts and experimentation, but correspond to a different form of energy, allowing the energy that is focused within the circle to be released in the way most conducive to the alchemist's desired effect. In basic alchemy, these runes will often take the form of triangles (which, when positioned differently, can represent the elements of either water, earth, fire or air), but will often be composed of varying polygons built from different triangles. For example: the hexagram is a commonly used base rune in Transmutation Circles because it creates eight multi-directional triangles when inscribed and can therefore represent all four classical elements at once. Other, more esoteric runes (including astrological symbols, symbolic images and varying lines of text) are prevalent and represent a multitude of other, specific functions for the alchemical energy that is released.

question since 1.7 forge is out does that mean we wont see a version for 1.6 now? official release?

Starting with version "EquivalentExchange3-pre2a.40.jar" EE3 reports occupied slot (and minecraft crashes).
It is only my problem, or is this happening to anyone else?
lluixhi is the latest build usable? because every E version was build against forge 9.11.1.964 which isnt installable. But does it work with 965 too? because thats the latest forge for 1.6.4 thats installable.
And does updating from pre2-25 to the latest change something mayor?

currently the stones do nothing. While working on DynEMC the stones functionality was broken. Lomeli12 has an addon that adds alot of the recipes back into the mod and I believe adds some that werent in this current incarnation of EE3 until Pahimar gets the functionality of the stones back in order. Though you may be patient enough to wait for Pahimar to release the fully working version in a few days if you want to you can swing over to http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1792060-16xforge-equivalency-say-huzza-thermal-expansion-3-and-equivalency/ and download what you need to have EE3 transmutation until the main release. Hope that helps...

Yes. You might experience crashes, but it's usable. Again, repeating myself for the ~3rd time, all Forge versions are backwards/forwards-compatible until MC version changes (and something else that I can't remember).
I'm using EquivalentExchange3-0.0.32 and I can't use the minium stone to do anything. Someone on another forum told me you should be able to see a bunch of recipes that the minium stone can be used in(ie transmutations?) I've removed all my mods and configs. Added EE3, nei and codechicken along with .forge 965. It runs fine and shows a bunch of things you can make in the mod but like I said I can't do anything with the minium stone. Did I miss something?

Curse PremiumProbably not for the next, since the 1.7 versions of Forge are still in very early alpha and are very buggy. Official release, maybe.
Adds Chalk Blocks, and changes the EMC Value for Chalk.
Fixes the BetterStorage Duplicate Keys bug.
Fixes Null Pointer Exception with NEI.
