Hey Pahimar, I have a suggestion on a new item or process of possibly crafting (only an idea, No haters) with the philospher stone and minium stone, Have it so if you want to make a pick or tool from this mod (saying it as if you WHERE going to add tools, etc) you would need to include the stone also. It puts the challenge in collecting the stuff. Cause the stones seem to be too indestructible (haven't tested) maybe have so they lose "Durability" and recharge with emc that in your inventory, and if you dont recharge it in time or use it too much when in low charge, Make it Break. So thus making the shard of minium useful by creating more stones. But the the crafting recipe with the stone can be massively used in almost everything in the mod, it doesn't really have to be just tools. Also when you transmute things with the philospher and minium stone, It loses the durability. Only an idea.
Try this : Delete the Direwolf20 folder in the FTB folder , back-up your world first , reinstall the mod pack . Good luck !
It is an actual bug, wasn't my client, it was the LAN players in my game crashing me. So it wasn't the "pack's" fault, it was a bug that was later fixed in 1.4.7. Have a nice evening
Hey Pahimar, if you're planning on bringing back the Klein Stars I got a little advice for you because "Klein Star" isn't perfectly translated. If you want to say "Small Star" you need to say "Kleiner Stern" in german. Also, it's not "Ein" but "Eins". So it should be "Kleiner Stern Eins" and not "Klein Star Ein". "Zwei", "Drei" and "Vier" is correct.
But I think having six "Klein Stars" is too much. It would be enough if you implement a "Small Star", "Medium Star" and "Large Star". These would be "Kleiner Stern", "Mittlerer Stern" and "Großer Stern" in german.

But i heard that they are useful. If this was to be put back onto the mod, certainly make one.
Other Note:
Personally, Making a macerator grind blaze rods, making them powder, then putting it back in the condenser for x2 the amount of rods and then continues in doubling the EMC value by THOUSANDS, was a wee bit Over Powered, in a way. But though you didnt have other mods installed to do this, you still had the "challenge" of gaining materials and later rewarded for the efforts.
With the Condenser, it was like... a Quarry from IC2 and bio-fuel engines, once you figure it out, you just Dominate everything in sight.
So.. Conclusion the raving on about that, EE2 items weren't as overpowered as by itself compared with other mods.
the relays and sunlight generators, if you think in detail, take a while to make 1 diamond, but if you were to quarry or use a mining turtle and go watch TV and entertain yourself away from your computer and leave it to run. You sure will have a fair bit of minerals. Possibly more than you would get in a condenser or transmution table, but you sure with get more variety using other methods of gaining materials, than souly focusing on making diamonds out of 3-6 gold ingots.

That way you can seperate the things that people consider OP and don't really want in their servers and still let those who want them have them. I'm really sad about losing a lot of cool features of EE2 and I believe that this might be a good way to add them back. But you know, this is just a suggestion. What you do is up to you... and the mod seems like it's going quite well so far.
You could use the npc villages in some way for the creation of a Philosopher's Stone, as in reference to the anime FMA. I'm not sure if that is a good idea for the way you are imagining how the mod will be in the future, though I still thought I should suggest it

If nobody was able to convince him to do so in the last 2360 posts before your's, your chances of being the one to do so are not very high. It's been made very clear that it's not going to happen. Be patient and wait and see what exciting new things will be coming to replace those old things. If you want to play OP, use NEI and "magically" obtain whatever you want that way.
The Minium Stone won't let me open the crafting grid...
The 'Extra' key opens it. Check to see if you have a key mapping conflict with another mod. If you have Factorization installed, the 'C' key opens it's pocket crafting table, not the one that the Minium/Philosopher's Stone would use.

Part of me wants to write something up for these non-reading newbies, the other doesn't want. I'll probably just report every of these posts now, I don't want to play the thread police every time someone cannot bother spending 5 minutes to actually read and understand that this is not EE2.

I think it would be cool to have transmutation take some time to do, for example:
A player has enough EMC to make a diamond and they want to make it.
The EMC comes mostly from iron, but about %15 comes from wool and dirt and %10 from mob drops.
There should be some sort of item class system that makes it so that certain items can only be made into items of the same class.
So to do that, the player has to make a large transmutation circle.
They player has to make a transmutation circle with some magic powder symbols and place them in a 2x2 area
Then, the player has to right click the circle and a GUI pops up with 5 slots, one in four corners and one in the middle
Then, the player has to put each item in a separate corner and then apply redstone power to it, the more inputs, the faster the transmuting.
Finally, when the transmutation is done, lightning will signal the completion and there you go, one diamond.
For this to take place, magic powder needs to be made with one redstone, one lapis, and one glowstone. it is a shapeless crafting recipe and wields 3 magic dust
So the magic powder symbols are crafted with 4 magic powders like this:
e = empty m= magic powder
eme
mem
eme
you get 2 per recipe.
You will have to place them in a square of 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5, (middles filled) depending on how many different sources of EMC you want to use, or if you want to use more than one stack at a time. The excess EMC could either disappear, or be collected somehow, by a special type of EMC wire or something.
Ultimately, you would be able to make a sort of an ultimate tool made of symbols and dark matter that allows you to use a portable 5x5 transmutation circle and an automatic machine that has a fuel input, 28 slots for storing extra stacks (they transmute automatically), and a 5x5 transmutation gui as well.
One last thing, if lightning strikes any of these objects, the current transmutation finishes automatically.
I hope you like my ideas, just hoping that this next iteration of EE isn't too unballenced

I'm more than happy to stay at 1.4.7 for awhile. the 1.5 update will be mod-breaking. From what i've heard, they're changing the render engine and that's going to be as bad as the update was from 1.2.5 to 1.3.2 was. supposedly the MC API was going to be in 1.5 which may have added some upgrade protection to all mods, stabilizing them against future MC patches, but I've heard that's getting pushed back to maybe 1.6 or 1.7
