Can someone tell me how to use the custom skins for the 1.8 damage indicators.
I have done that and the only one that shows up is the old skin I deleted out of the folder and the new one I want to use is not showing up.
The download does not work.
Whenever i try to download the 1.7.10 version, it says Error 403 and that i shouldnt be here??? Whats going on?

Curse PremiumThis mod doesn't seem to save the menu keybind if you change it from the in-game controls menu (and even then, the option only appears once you actually get into a world, won't show up on the main menu controls page.)
It'd be really nice if I didn't have to re-bind it every time I loaded the game again. ):

Yep. I miss being able to look at mobs and see what the heck they're called and how many HPs they have, and what damage I'm doing to them
Considering how long this has been abandoned, it's about time some clever person out there came up with an alternative or fork ......

I have a sneaky suspicion that some people don't know how to read...how many times have those new links been posted?
I'm going to guess this mod is dead...Seeing as how the 1.8 version never fixed the bugs with the wierd looking world when looking at a mob. As the mod creator only put out a version for 1.8, I can only assume he did it to appease those of us who wanted this for 1.8. My assumption usually being correct my only course of action is to say this:
If you are just updating this mod to 1.8 to appease those of us who wanted this mod for 1.8 then you gave yourself a major disservice to your fanbase. I may be ungrateful but that is no excuse for you NOT to fix the problems with your mod. As a person who is willing to use your mods, you should, also, be willing to fix the bugs we give to you in a fair and decent amount of time without the disappearing act or the silent treatment. Yes your mod works great for 1.7 and below but not for 1.8 and seeing as how some of us actually use 1.8 it would benefit you greatly to fix said issues. Now since the bugs were not fixed this mod is to be considered dead and I will discontinue its use until such a time that the bugs are fixed. If you even think of skipping 1.8 then I will no longer consider this mod for anyother version of minecraft just like I don't consider any other mod creator who skips versions and who just puts out a version just to appease us back-porting it or porting it for that matter.
I am a 1.8 Minecraft enthusiast. If i give any ideas to you for your mod that you like or even if I just came to say I like this mod, that basically means I would like this mod for 1.8.

The 1.8 download is broken
Currently working on a new project list. Shut down server due to lack of players/time to work on it among other issues. All of my packs are still available of course.
get used to not using it then. You are talking to nobody - he is gone. It's not fixed for 1.8 because he stopped working on it. I've got a fixed version, but I can't distribute it because it isn't my mod and he isn't responding to my messages to either allow me to do so, or to incorporate my small fixes himself.
TBH I can't really even understand why this thread is still open. The mod is very obviously abandoned and page after page of someone creating an account to say "The download is dead!" just like multiple other people right above him doesn't help anyone. It's nice I guess that we can pass around unofficial links, but strictly speaking we aren't even meant to be allowed to do that. There is nothing constructive here and IMHO it ought to be closed instead of stringing people along by giving them the mistaken impression the creator is even around.
I would like this thread to be locked as well. Seeing page after page just about the broken download link is just getting old. Rich has not been online in a little over 6 months, so any mod wandering here please lock this until Rich says something in the future?
Yeah its kind of sad that almost everyone saying the link is dead, went to the trouble of making an account...just to say that the link is dead....but they can not read the recent posts lol
Honestly this thread became a huge laugh stock. Post after post after post, people didn't care enough to read the last post to post the exact same thing "The download is dead!. Is it me? Fix it plx.", funnily the majority was from 1-post accounts.
Clearly there is a huge demand for this mod and it's quite popular among mod packs, may someone recreate this mod from ground up, and let a moderator lock this thread once the modder is long inactive and people only read the OP to bump this thread pointlessly.

I agree. I think maybe we should put a request in for someone to make a new type of damage indicators mod. I'll try to find away to get a mod to close this because I am tired of the "The link is broken. Is there another place to download this? You should add skin." and etc.
