Awesome mod finally found the directory to change the look!

Hello.

Please update the mod to Minecraft v1.8, whenever you can and if it's possible. Take your time and no rushing, just letting you know that I really like your mod.

Any mods relying on Forge aren't going to be able to update to 1.8 until Forge updates to 1.8. Patience.

This. 1.8 has barely been out for a day. Give them time. Besides, asking for updates is against the forum rules

Yes, I know. I like the mod and hoping it won't die out just like that, so this is just my way of checking if the mod author is still active or not.

I see you all around the forums, posting this everywhere. 9/10 if they updated to 1.7, they're updating to 1.8. You are breaking forum rules asking for an update. Also, nobody can update until MCP releases, which is estimated at 7 days for the beta. Then add on the development time for the mod and you're looking at around 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks.

And that's at the absolute minimum. This update wasn't nearly as big as the update from 1.5 to 1.6 or the update from 1.6 to 1.7, but it did still bring a lot of changes

Hello, I have a problem. When I am in 1.6.4 and look at a creature, no matter what creature, with DI, I lag horribly. I have a good machine and this only happens with 1.6.4. Can Anyone help me out? I put the .zip file into my mods and look around at it and still, I see nothing I know is wrong. I see other people on 1.6.4 that are fine.

Is it the forge version I am using? because I have the most updated 1.6.4 and it is with any mob. Could someone please tell me what is wrong?

how is the damage indicators going to adapt to the 4 new mobs in 1.8, Endermite, Guardian, Elder Guardian, and Rabbit? i mean how will the interface look like? i really want to know.

He's not even working on it, nobody is. Everyone's waiting on MCP, then Forge to update. Unless your Marglyph, his mod is simple and has already updated.

I think this mod may be discontinued.

The mod maker hasn't been on for a month, I think he may have given up on Minecraft.

People have lives? And the mod isn't broken, its up to date. What more do you want?

And 1.7.10 has been out since June 26 (longer than a month). Since nothing is broken in the current version, there's no reason for him to log on until he's able to update to 1.8

I fixed it.

Btw... before the fix, I found certain DI icons lagged and certain ones didn't. So (if anyone still winds up with the problem) that might be your solution.

I noticed that too, I also didn't care for the pretty borders and such so started hacking away at the pictures and ended up with this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s7s876ikdolnqf8/default.zip?dl=0

It has the 3D avatar, but no little entity icon or borders - I also changed the color of the health bar to blend in a little better. Just posting it in case someone else doesn't like them either, saved you the time of editing it. Put it in your minecraft/CustomDISkins folder and select it in the options.

make it simple

You can download skins to make it less laggy or look better. Check the OP for some or you can google to find others.

is there a setting so that when a mob takes damage it doesn't show the numbers flying of its head, and this is compatible with any mod right?

To the creator, can you take the dragon off of the damage indicator it lags hard when I look at any thing to make it pop up

Don't look at the dragon, or turn off the pop-up when fighting the dragon.
