Im having some trouble here... I have Forge 9.10.0.789, Optifine B2, TMI, Rei's Minimap and Damage Indicators installed (with Magic Launcher) and everything shows as OK, but when I load a world it says 'Loading World' and crashes.

Just did. Worlds load fine, but it seems that the mods weren't even loaded. may have to install forge manually :/
With the new launcher, other launchers like magic launcher seem to be obsolete and cause more problems then they're worth in 1.6.2. Just use the new launcher and run the game once to get a 1.6.2 version. Then just download the 'installer' forge version and run it.And it will be in your profiles, when you press 'new profile' just choose it. You never really have to touch the jar (except for optifine and very few others) Most you just drag and drop in mods folder and you're done.

Hey every time I enable potions it will glitch out and make the frame bigger, not show the effect and sometimes it will crash. I have tried it with different resource packs and with different frame skins and it still wont work. Please help. (1.6.2)

That is the exact filename. The brackets were removed as this caused partial download names in some browsers, but the current filename should be universal.

just downloaded the new version, it does the same thing when i add two potion effects to the mob. And there is a little glitch where whenever the damage indicator is on it will make the text in parts of the game really bold, this was in the old version too i just forgot to mention it. Please fix as soon as possible. Thanks
