Thanks so much for the AWESOME mod. I am starting to experience a weird bug. My paint is "disappearing." It started in random small areas but now it seems that the paint just disappears over time. I re-paint and go to work on something else and when I return the paint has disappeared again from my blocks. I am running 1.4.5 in Creative with several mods, including Optifine and Single Player Commands, Mo Creatures and others. First installed Paint Gun on 12/2 version 1.6.6 and no issues. When I first noticed, I upgraded Optifine and your mod new release 1.6.8. As it got worse, I rolled back to older versions but still happening. I rolled back my Optifine as well just in case. I thought maybe it was happening after I use WorldEdit commands so I stopped but that didn't seem to solve either. Sometimes I can just fly away and then come back and color gone! I had painted iron blocks near some beacons and I thought that might be an issue and removed the beacons but paint still disappeared and then started happening in areas without beacons. Can't seem to find a combination that it doesn't happen at this point or what triggers it.
I don't see where anyone else in the forum has had a similar problem and not sure what to do about it as I'm VERY addicted to your mod now and love painting my blocks. I did recently add Wireless Redstone mod on 12/9 but issue started some time after that, just over the last week or so. I'm thinking about starting over completely and installing all of my mods again but wanted to post first and see if you have had any similar issues.
Again, AWESOME mod! Thank you so much for your time and effort!!
Should fix occasional block disappearance caused by chunk errors.
(This was added to automatically delete blocks that had a missing/corrupted tile entity, and to fix null pointers that could get thrown interacting with these blocks with a missing/corrupted tile enties.)
If this fix works, but results in invisible blocks with working selection blocks that throws null pointers, you might be using one of the forge versions that lost tile entity information or a mod that is corrupting chunks.
Thanks! I've got Forge 6.4.1.401 but I will check for an update before I reload everything. If it continues, I'll try process of elimination on mods and see what happens!
No it won't. Don't Worry, I am already testing in 1.4.6, but you guys will have to wait a bit longer. I have too many projects going on at this moment.

No Problem, Ill be ready when you are, and thanks for a great mod.
Could you work on making it so you can paint stuff, but still have it retain function? I've got an excellent trap planned based on iron doors, rails, and tnt blending in with colors and optical illusions, yet i fail to do so since anything u try to use that is functionable other than a chest (to the best of my knowledge. I haven't painted everything) fails to paint or function the same way. I would also like to say that it's a bit annoying when u paint things and it makes them instantly flammable I do enjoy painted netherrack, but it's a bit of a pain if I can't light it with eternal fire with the fear of it burning away...
Have you checked my mod review?, cause last time u were on u replied to only one person. can u please replay to me to
Sorry, I have bee busy with a few different projects, and been neglecting this one a bit for now, but Ill get back to it when I get the time. Very nice mod review, but unfortunately, the main post is a bit overloaded. I may add it back if I get time to organize it a bit.
sadly, this mod is a bit too powerful. all i am after is the ability to change blocks into one of the typical 16 colours. Although, with the framework that appears to already be in place, making a mod that does that, without a need for a paint gun (think just right clicking with dyes) would not take very long.
Allow me to offer my unending appreciation for you making this mod. This has, to quote GladOs, made the impossible Building project i'm doing easy. One thing I love is that by painting leaves it seems to stop them decaying. Fantastic.
The only thing i'd like to ask is if Vines could be paintable at some point. Apart from that, perfect, perfect mod.

I make texture packs for fun! It's like a hobby.
