I didn´t tried the lastest version, the ones for MC1.6.2, but, at least in the E+1.14.6 for MC1.5.2 there are a little trick when re-enchanting a item with the same enchant but with an enhanced version of the enchant. i.e. Enchanting a diamond sword with sharpness V, it cost 13exp levels...but... enchanting a diamond sword with sharpness l cost 1xp level, then, enchanting that sharpness l sword with sharpness ll cost 1 level. Enchanting that one with sharpnes lll cost another level... and the final result until we have a Diamond sword with sharpnes V by this way cost only 7 levels. This diamond sword with sharpness V can be obtained with only one bookshelf near of the enchantment table.
And this one was only a little example of that tricky issue. The question is... Is this already fixed?

Id like to report the opposite. In my current Version ( Hexxit ), Mod "enchants" that should not show up, do. Example Harken Scythe "Augments" that cost 100's of souls. As a server Admen, I would love for the ability to customize what enchants do, and do not show in the enchant window.
Perhaps a Generated list added to your Cfg with true/false options. Server Authoritative.

TMI/NEI is causing a hard crash. The version I am testing at the moment will make it so this incompatibility doesn't crash the game.
This has been resolved in later versions.
Could really use this feature.
I do have an API modders can use to request their enchantments don't show up in the table, but a configuration setting may be useful.
