Are you using Dimensional Doors by any chance?, i got the exact same error when i had that mod installed.
edit: After looking trough your error a bit i noticed 2 things.

Smart Moving is having issues with you flying to the moon, and you have Dim Doors installed which is giving problems too.
Odd. I'm too attached to Smart Moving to remove it, but I might be able to part with Dim Doors.

I can't load into the Moon with the newer versions. With 1.1.5, I get this error:

I didn't seem to see it saying anything happened to error, but I saw it say at moon.mod, so I'm assuming it's this.
Also, the whole:
at moon.mod.ScrubbingFunction.pathfindD(ScrubbingFunction.java:44)
at moon.mod.ScrubbingFunction.nextNodesD(ScrubbingFunction.java:92)
made this post waaaay too long, so I cut out a lot of them to make it fit.
Hmm, the scrubbing function error means that the mod is trying to decompress an area that is so big, Minecraft is running out of memory. Usually at least. I'm not sure why this would be happening due to smart moving though. Did you try on more than one seed? It might not have anything to do with smart movement, it just shows up as being related to it due to the way the classes are set up.
How did you give the dimension custom moon/sun textures??
I'm not going to lie, those don't work right now because I haven't spent the time to learn how to use the sky-rendering functions. The appearance of the moon has no effect on gameplay, so it hasn't been a priority. I'm going to fix it soon though, THIS I SWEAR!
I'm done with my Mystcraft testing. Looking good so far. Books can be used to go to and from the moon dimension, Mystcraft ages don't overwrite the existing moon dimension. Hell, Mystcraft even has a sort of built in compatibility. It adds a Moon Biome page. Okay, bad news time. That page is immensely broken. It generates a biome that is similar to the overworld, but instead of grass, it is diamond blocks. instead of dirt, it becomes air. Sooooo, yeaaah. If there's a way to disable Mystcraft from making a page for the moon biome, then it might be worth looking into.
Also, I have a few suggestions since you're working on cross-mod compatibility. Some config settings would be great. I would like to have the option to configure modded suits to double as space suits (Quantum, for example). Also, since several mods add iron nuggets, and the ability to smelt the moondust into iron can be seen as a bit OP, why not make a setting to either disable the smelting ability and/or configure it to turn into another item ID?
Oh, new idea. A special type of iron door that won't open unless both sides of the door are pressurized? That way no one accidentally destroys all their hard work because some dingus forgot to turn on the air scrubber in the air lock.
I'll likely come up with more and post them here as I use the mod with all my other mods. Moon-based Mystcraft nexus here I come!
Well, the diamond thing is weird. I am not exactly sure why it would be doing that, but I may have a few ideas to check out. I will see if there is any way to simply remove the moon biome as a page, if that is possible from my end.
I will definitely add the option to choose what armor can be used as a suit. I thought about doing that, but when I actually went to write the config file, I forgot. I'll get that into the next update.
And about your iron door, what fun would that be? That's what airlocks are for!
It's not because of Smart Moving (atleast i think not, i don't use that mod myself so i can't test it), it's because of Dimensional Doors. Once you take that mod out you can go to the moon without problems.
I already posted in that mod's thread and i'll wait till Steven reads it.
Huh, weird. Thanks man! If I need to do anything on my end to make it work, I shall gladly comply.
Yeah no problem man, i'm so glad you got the world gen bug sorted. ^^
Same. I also changed the way that the decompression works, so hopefully it shouldn't have any problem with blocks added by other mods, although I didn't test it much.
I didn't have time to test it thoroughly yet but i was able to place Solar Panels, Buildcraft pipes and stuff like that in the open. Don't exactly know what your rules are regarding that (I know wood items can't be placed). So if you could tell me what should be placable and what not i can test some stuff.
Those should be fine out in the open, but anything wooden shouldn't be. Are wooden pipes able to stay placed? They most likely treated as glass in the code, but I haven't looked at them at all. If they are, then I'm fine with them staying.
I don't use IC, but are there any obviously wooden blocks that could be placed to test it?

So, the Moon Mod is compatible with everything now? Awesome! The physics of the moon world here are really unique in Minecraft mods, and they're pretty darn awesome.
However, now that we can play the Moon Mod alongside Equivalent Exchange 3 and all the tech mods... I think it's time to bring up my old suggestions post that seems to have gone overlooked a month or two ago.
Slabs and stairs made of iron framework, and possibly moonstone. Asthetics are awesome. Moonstone shouldn't smelt directly into iron. Since the Moon Mod isn't really compatible with many other Forge mods yet, this isn't too huge a deal yet, but when it is... oh god can you imagine how it would ruin the balance of IC2? I think that moonstone should smelt into something like, for instance, "Iron Slag", which you can then craft 9 of into a "Iron Slag Pile", which you can then smelt into an "Lunar Iron Ingot", which you can smelt again to get normal iron. This changes the balance from "1 Moonstone + 1 fuel = 1 iron" to "9 Moonstone + 11 fuel = 1 iron", which is still plenty darn cheap but perhaps not quite as game-breakingly so. And you can make special lunar techy stuff out of Lunar Iron instead of regular Iron, to avoid recipe conflicts and make sure you actually have gone to the moon to get the stuff There should be obsidian plains on the moon. If RedPower 2 is installed, you can make it spawn basalt instead of obsidian
These are all the simple ideas I have. I can't wait to see how the mod turns out in further updates

I posted this mod on the /r/FeedTheBeast subreddit and a commenter had an excellent idea about Mystcraft integration.
Can you imagine if this mod created mystcraft symbols for what it adds? I think having an age with vacuum or low gravity would be awesome!
That would be cool as long as it also ensured the world didn't generate dirt, gravel, sand, or any other life. I think people see a lot of potential in the mechanics. I, for one, would like to be able to make a vacuumed void age and make a space station. That would be cool with the thought if you stepped outside, you could die from not only a fall.

I also agree with this. I am going to be changing quite a bit of balancing things in a later update, and this is on my list.
And good idea about the obsidian plains! I have plans to rework the world gen again to make it totally custom, and this seems like a great biome to add. The world gen right now still uses too many vanilla methods, including it's biome selection. I want that changed, but it will take a long time to code.

I too would love to play with a vacuum void age! That would be really sweet, and I would happily do what I can to make this happen.
I thought i had figured out how your mod decides which items could be placed and which not, but i didn't I assumed it looked at the crafting recipe and if there where any wood items involved then the newly crafted item can't be placed. But both the BuildCraft Filler and Builder are made out off a Chest and a Crafting table (which both can't be placed) and a Blueprint Library is made out off a Bookshelve. But the Builder and Filler can be placed and the Library not. So i'm stuck.
I'm also going off of an assumption here, but I'm guessing it checks to see if it's literally made of wood -- if you can harvest it with an axe faster than by hand, generally, it's made of wood and doesn't just look like wood.

Yup, it check's the block's Material to see what to do with it. If it is not stone, metal, or glass, then it will decompress it. I had to make a few exceptions for this, such as pistons, buttons, and stone pressure plates. I will try to add the option to edit the config file to allow other blocks to be added to the "airtight" list in the future.

--- END ERROR REPORT 671f81f8 ----------
EDIT: Minecraft Comes Alive seems to be incompatible!
Oddly enough, I've got the Moon Mod working with Buildcraft, IC2, RedPower, Mystcraft, and a number of other utility mods, and the only strange things that I've found is that Mystcraft's Ice Mountains are covered with Moonstone instead of snow/dirt. It's very fun to be able to build with those other mods on the moon, though redpower doesn't get along very well with the zero pressure atmosphere. (I have a lot of stone covers that used to be red alloy wire in my creative world.)
I'm still on 1.1.3, I think that I'll be updating today, hopefully I won't lose my large moonbase...
Edit: Nooooo! My moonbase!
Good thing that I backed up my main world, I'll have to go out and harvest all of my stuff and convert the iron frameworks to iron blocks for temporary storage to make rebuilding go faster.
Yup!
If my testing holds up for other people, this last bugfix should take care of world gen issues. I got it running with IC flawlessly. : )
Posting update 1.1.5 now!
I was about to come and give my support for IC compatibility, and I find it's already been done. Kudos!
And keep that. The moon doesn't feel right without being able to build complex machinery on it. Though Minecraft without at least one of the tech mods has lost all allure for me in any case.
EDIT: BTW, I did run into an error in one of my previous MMMM worlds that someone else previously mentioned; it started raining and didn't stop. Installed toomanyitems to turn off the weather, installed optifine to turn off weather, neither worked. I was able to stop the raining, I believe by /toggledownfall, but then it started with thunder and lightning, and that's really annoying on the moon, and that wouldn't stop either. It hasn't come up since, but just to put it here. If it happens again I'll report it.
I've also just discovered this is not compatible with Factorization.
Also, exploding beds was a thing of the nether, right? (I dropped off of minecraft before that update) It'd make spacestations more homey if that didn't happen on the moon. Something to consider.
May I make a suggestion? Perhaps add a way to insulate redstone so that it can be placed in the vacuum Been trying to wire up some lights for my base but its proving rather difficult.
Odd. I'm too attached to Smart Moving to remove it, but I might be able to part with Dim Doors.

I will try to add the option to edit the config file to allow other blocks to be added to the "airtight" list in the future.

--- END ERROR REPORT 671f81f8 ----------
EDIT: Minecraft Comes Alive seems to be incompatible!
