I cant find any other ores besides copper and bauxite and i have been looking for hours. The ores i need to find are silicon, lithium, monazite, and cobalt. Do they spawn in certain biomes or dimensions?

They shouldn't be special biome-based, just they're pretty rare due to how important they are to AvP "later game." Are you checking in new chunks? Also if you're still out of luck, you can try using one of the commands MDX has included, an "ore searched." Also its best to try to get help on our Discord, not here, as we're not here as much, but on Discord all the time.

I thought they were biome based, or did we change that? I'll take a look here in a bit.

Hello there, first off, you made an awesome mod, it was the first one I ever installed and still play it to date. I got a new PC, and after that used a newer version of minecraft to run your mod, but I can't seem to find any ores other than copper and bauxite, and looking in specific biomes doesn't help, as I have spent over 2 hours constantly mining. Is this a generating bug on my world, or am I a retard?
Copper and Bauxite do spawn everywhere and quite frequently, but as stated above, Cobalt only spawns in vanilla jungle-type biomes, and Lithium only in water-type biomes. The only other ore AvP adds is Neodymium, which spawns everywhere but fairly rarely.
Though AvP does support OreDict, so if another mod adds those resources, you can use them.
Alternatively you can use a mod like CoFHCore to tweak generation, but I haven't used that mod before so I can't really help you there.
AvP doesn't use dim ID 2, it only used 426 and 223, it must be with another of your mods. Though I'm fairly sure you can change the AE2 dim ID.
In 1.12.2 it doesn't use either of those dimension IDs. AVP Dynamically chooses dimension IDs in 1.12.2. The only way it can cause a crash is if another mod, such as AE2, uses a dimension ID that AVP has already determined is unused. This is not a fault of AVP, but a fault of other mods.
To combat against this, I have released MDX 3.0.0.3, which starts dynamically choosing IDs starting at ID 200 and moving upward. Again, I would like to clarify that AVP was not, and is not at fault, nor is MDX. It is OTHER mod developers that are choosing ID's without checking if they are first available.

No, nothing from Covenant has been added yet. Neos, protos, Paradise itself, and some other things will all be part of one big update to be released at once. Its best to join the mod's discord for updates, along with potential spoilers for neos/protos/other Covenant content, and more
Ok so I used Ancient Warfare 2 to build a big hive of xenomorph, encased in hive resin under an npc village, with a bunch of villagers trapped in little boxes with a hole where their faces poke out, and there's one baby queen in there. So, I made this structure world generation. I got the idea from the "life of a xenomorph" series on youtube.. so I just kinda made it a reality. I used another mod, special AI to make it so that xenomorphs would actively seek out certain blocks and I put those blocks on the tunnel that leads out of the hive. So, when enough drones are born in the little villager nightmare room they pretty much break out by themselves and then terrorize the village.
There is only one problem with what I've done. The facehuggers suffocate to death and then burn the villagers to death in their acid blood, instead of infesting the villagers. I thought of a couple of solutions to this problem. 1, would be to make it so that hive resin behaved more like glass when you are inside of it. Mobs don't suffocate in glass. Solution 2 would be to make facehuggers impervious to suffocation damage. For now I'm going to try a temporary solution, which is to remove the acid blood mob from my game. That'll make it so when the facehugger dies, the villager remains infected. But I think having a bunch of dead facehuggers on the ground all over the little slime cave would make it extra cool, so that is why it's a temporary solution.
It's a really cool mod and if this thing would work I feel that it would make minecraft really scary and immersive.

Depends on your settings. Xenomorphs should spawn in Acheron and are the only creatures you will find there natively. Since xenomorphs are hostile, make sure you're not in peaceful mode. Also make sure you have xenos set to spawn in the dimension and that "autospawning" is still enabled. And the 1.12.2 version has the content of all previous versions, but we still plan to add more later, but things you had in 1.7.10 and 1.10.2 are still in 1.12.2, the only difference is the shaped blocks work differently now.
