well, the xenomorphs are incredibly buggy... There hit boxes seem to be broken(you can only hit them from certain angles about 50% of the time). This also causes ghost hit boxes(nothing is there but the air acts solid). This bug seems to carry over to other mobs as well. It could be forge or universal electricity, but I doubt it, they don't mess with hit boxes...
Oh, and if you could make it so that they don't 1-3 hit you, that would be nice(they are incredibly OP, the only way to get defense against them is to dig, the only way to dig is to get defense from them). There spawn rate seems really high as well(I have only found 1 zombie, no skellies or creepers), I can't find anything other than them in a huge ravine that I managed to find
Hey man, i really loved the mod, the sounds are so epic! I've made a review in portuguese br language, hope you see and like it Dunno if only here, but sometimes the aliens and predators get passive, is it ok or being fixed?
Should add hive options in the config, they should be rare-er, and configurable incase someone wants them to not spawn. You should also make different types of Xenos. Maybe a extremely rare crashsite? One thats just a crashsite and another thats infested with facehuggers? Yeah good idea @___@
By the way you should make a new type of village-spawning-type-of-thing which is like a marine camp with a bunch of people and marines there? Would be awesome, Xenos raiding durring night, preds coming in for the hunt. Would be so awesome.

Your defense statement is incorrect, you can use any iron block or WYC block that my mod adds, including the iron block in vanilla minecraft. Also, they are meant to kill you in about 3 hits, if you have ever seen the movies, you know that they are extremely strong and overpowered. I might lower it a little, but not much.
I like this mod, very much. I've had an unhealthy obsession with the Alien for a while now and it's a shame there aren't many good games out there that let you run the hive.
While I wouldn't expect you to make aliens controllable (hmm...), there are some tweaks I will suggest if you don't mind. First, please tone down the rate of hive block spawns while also making the few existing ones larger. The underground world was a hellhole of constant combat because the aliens were spawning and escaping to literally everywhere. I also noticed that a good chunk of the times I found nests that the xenomorphs spawned on the blocks then got stuck in other blocks and suffocated.
Second, pre-spawned, pre-populated bunkers with Steves (might want to replace the generic Steve with a set of random skins of colonists and Weyland-Yutani people) and marines inside, with maybe 1 marine for every 5 civilians or so. Could be filled with player-usable supplies as well, so the player can chill knowing he's safe and live out his own version of Aliens when hits the fan. Specific vents and other overlooked security holes for a lone facehugger to wiggle through is a must. An extremely rare predator ship on the surface would be cool, but I wouldn't care if they were never added.
And of course there's the other "little" things. Facehuggers not dying when they score a kill (is it possible for that to happen?), chestbursters not spawning etc. etc.

I agree with the things you said about the hive, most of that will be fixed for sure in the next update, maybe a day or two away.. but the little problems like the facehugger not dying or chestbusters not spawning... I haven't added them yet because when I do, it makes some pretty nasty bugs. So I am working around that.

In the alien vs predetor games, those aliens are not that powerful. The aliens 1 strength in the games(and comics) is that there is A LOT of them.
What did I say about iron? I said that I couldn't mine because they killed me so fast(this is with iron legings). They seem to be all I find, and I need skellies for my ruber farm!

Yes, they do spawn randomly in some biomes, I will fix the config feature.
As far as I know, it does not work in LAN. You installed the mod incorrectly, use the automatic installer found in the downloads section of this thread.
The facehuggers never hugged anyone but the player, I will fix it soon.
