Would the Amplules the things become some sort of Goo TnT, like how it was dropped like a bomb in Covenant? Or will it be a new block?
Like previous versions that had em, they'll be a block. Though I'd like them to be a storage recepticle for phials of goo. Perhaps they could also be affected by gravity, and if they fall a sufficient number of blocks they break and unleash a source block of goo. So a number of them could be contained in a bunch of sand blocks, and then have a piston mechanism retract and open a hatch to drop them on an area. Essentially like a bomb.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Some of his art was concept art that I used for the Ultramorph and Belugamorph, as well as some new non-goo creatures that will spawn on Paradise. As for his other work, or things like early designs for creatures that made it, but were different, then no.
As in I won't do the goofy looking early neomorph design with the big noses, but I plan on doing the minks from Covenant's concept art
Is it strange that I giggled a little bit when I heard of the big nosed Neomorphs, and thought of the MC Villagers being the hosts of them?
You should add a examination table were you can spawn mobs and disect them because im making a research base and it would be cool to have it for decoration
That would be cool. Also maybe it could be the way we could make alien armour?
That would be cool, instead of the aliens straight dropping the armor, they could drop chitin pieces which are crafted into the armor like any vanilla armor recipe.

Yeah, so the armour wouldnt be that OP. Maybe different aliens drop different types of chitin, to make different armor?
Like there could be Queen Armor (Equivalent to Celtic Armor, drops rarely, and gives you a speed debuff)
Neomorph Armor (Gives you a speed buff, but slightly weaker than alien armor)
Belugamorph Armor (Lets you fit through 1x1 holes, but the chitin drops rarely. Same strength as alien armor)
Protomorph Armor (Gives you the ability to climb underneath blocks, and also armor is stronger than normal Alien Armor)
@sambailey2004 Try looking in Jungles and Deserts. I think they spawn there.
Also, alien armor should grant immunity to acid, except for the neomorph, as it doesn't have acid blood, and therefore wouldn't have the developed defenses to resist the acid. Btw, queen armor would be hella strong, and the specific chitin would drop VERY rarely. Queens have a lot of health.
Also, maybe use Xeno's tail barb to make a spear, like the one in the first AVP film?
And, while on the topic of Queen armor, can we get a sepparate skull trophy for the Queens and Praetorians?
It's planned, last I heard. The spear would be nice. Maybe a xeno head shield, like what was also shown? Also, we need a bit more variety on the Yautja weapons. Net guns, spear guns, and a medicomp for healing would be nice (the last one and a 3D render satcom could come in handy, and should be gauntlet accessories).

A xeno head shield would be good, considering that 1.10.2 has shields already, so that it wouldnt take long for it to be coded. Net Guns would be useful, could pin up an enemy to a wall, and let you kill it with ease. Also, what about Engineer weaponry and armor? Like the gun in Fire and Stone, and maybe tech to create Xenomorphs using some kind of bio-mechanical machine, and maybe something which makes xenomorphs stay away from you in a certain radius, like the AVP 2 game's engineer artifact. And maybe you could fix an Engineer Ship and fly about in it. Maybe have it so you can go to the Engineer planet in Alien: Covenant, and was the only way you could get to it, unless you make a satellite or something.
Also, we definitely need a block that somehow inhibits alien evolution in a small radius around it, for xenomorph zoos. Kinda frustrating when the drone exhibit suddenly contains a warrior. You'd have to kill the warrior, wait for the acid to go away, then breed another drone, which takes time away from doing other things.

Xenos don't have chitin though. They have flesh and bone as seen here and here and here (lips and tendons made of skin not chitin). Not to mention a chitinous exoskeleton would really limit its movement, and xenos are very fast and flexible creatures. So if anything, they have normal skin that contains some sort of silicon-based material which lets it be both flexible and fast, but offers more protection than "normal" skin. Though some bones are harder than normal and extrude, making the creature both more intimidating and giving it some more protection (we can assume the mod's armour is actually made from these extruding bones). Keep in mind these are these are biomechanical war beasts, not mere bugs. Plus having full armour as a rare drop has better balance since its a bit harder to acquire, and the full set offers the ability to climb anything and negates all fall damage. If a skin material dropped like leather it would be OP and too common, and if a piece of raw skin was dropped at the same rarity as the full pieces currently are, then it would be too grindy.

There are no plans for special armour based on different creatures. Just the single generic alien armour they all drop. Not to mention belugas and neos have nothing of any armour of any sorts, just skin. So if you were to make an armour of neo/beluga skin, it would essentially be fancy leather. Also the Proto has no skin at all, just exposed muscles and bones. Also a queen is far to big to wear
The alien armour won't give acid immunity. There will be a separate armour for that, the reason is so there is no single "universal" set, so instead the player will have have to plan ahead based on the situation instead of just prancing in there and having one single armour that trumps everything else
You have xeno armour for mobility
and then there will be a rubber armour for "environmental" damage such as acid, electricity, goo, and spores
So you will have to decide which is better for you based on whatever your next mission is
Also, maybe use Xeno's tail barb to make a spear, like the one in the first AVP film?
And, while on the topic of Queen armor, can we get a sepparate skull trophy for the Queens and Praetorians?
No queen armour, but a queen skull texture has been made and is just waiting to be added, as well as a special skull texture for the TBA predalien queen too. I may also make a skull texture for protomorphs and neomorphs a la David's lab. No plans for praetorians since they're pretty common and they're not as "recognizable" as either a queen or normal alien
As for xeno-based spears and maybe even a shield, I haven't though of it, but its a possibility.

Why wouldn't alien armor protect against acid if xenomorphs themselves are resistant to their own acid? Doesn't quite make sense. Maybe partial immunity, since the armor is not too well crafted.

The engineer gun is planned, I have a model made but it needs work for sure. Probably not the AvP 2 thing, since its not canon and its too vague of a device. Plus xenos are easy to keep away with lights, because vanilla monster rules.
What I think is planned is you will be able to access the other planets with Starway once its out. Probably the derelict itself will not be something that can be piloted (because the structure is huge and I don't want to think about that lag it would bring). Though I could see derelicts or some sort of "ancient cave" having some sort of loot, some of which could be coords to Lv-223, once there you could find coords to Paradise in either a juggernaut or an engineer mound, and maybe there you could find coords to either Origae-6 or Lv-426. Then you could punch in the coords to whatever planet you want with something like a "Ship's Computer" with Starway, then enter hypersleep and "wake up" on that planet, as opposed to hoping you find whichever planet on your own. Just saves time really.
Why wouldn't alien armor protect against acid if xenomorphs themselves are resistant to their own acid? Doesn't quite make sense. Maybe partial immunity, since the armor is not too well crafted.
Maybe their veins and organs are lined with some sort of mucous, much like a stomach is? So like your stomach acid won't burn your stomach, but if you got some on your hand, it would blister up and burn. Plus I can't really recall anything other than maybe a few drops of xenomorph blood getting on the skin of another xeno, at least not in a canon situation.
If anything, it should just reduce the damage a tiny bit (like by a half-heart per every other damage tick) (because once again the armour itself is just cobbled together from xeno bones and skin, so yeah there will be gaps and holes in it, so acid would leak inside), so it would work in emergencies, but not render the user fully immune to acid and its effects, so there will still be a strong reason to get a full rubber suit.
Xenos do die from other acid, although that was in the abomination of a movie, Alien Resurrection. Which is non canonical if alien 5 (hopefully) comes out, even though it probably wont.
I think Xenos themselves would be used to acid, considering they were built with it as a defense system, but a human who has just slapped a dead aliens flesh on? Yeah, probably not. I mean there would be some resistance, but not entirely. Unless you were completely covered in Xeno flesh.
I am pretty sure that xeno died from being torn into pieces by the other two, so they could melt the floor and escape (unless you mean another scene?).
Yeah, but would probably have tons of Xenomorphs. Not necessarily the xx121 species, but probably others.
Also, anyone else read aliens: defiance?
I don't think Origae-6 will have any xenos, but I think it may be the real engineer homeworld, based on what Ridley and someone was talking about, with Paradise just being another "Earth"-where engies created degenerated "duplicates" of themselves. Though I could see it having normal animal life like in Covenant's concept art
And I've read quite a bit of it, the Seegson setting and Alien/Alien Isolation aesthetic was nice, but I think the part with the royal burster was a bit too much, but that "Big Ugly" xeno looks cool, though it won't be added.

Yeah, but Origae should have slightly more ore than the Overworld. Just having another Overworld-esque copy isn't exactly giving a reason to go there aside from the Engineers.

I don't see why it needs more ore, that was never mentioned in the film. Though people will go there to get access to neomorphs, protomorphs, more goo, more engies, as well as the minks and dogs, as well as potentially some new structures and trees. Plus once Starway is out, I could see the coords for Origae-6 or maybe even Lv-426 being "gated" behind Paradise.

Okay, then. What about my suggestion of a block for inhibiting alien evolution in a small area around it? We need something for more accurate alien zoos.
