Vanilla recipe is a must,as ender pearls is the base of most starting items of HS

...Not really. They still have to wait the entire day cycle before they can sleep for one, and at most they get 4 pearls for a full keeper. That's waiting full day cycles for an entire moon cycle for 4 pearls. It's still easier to hunt for endermen. So not only do they have to wait, but they have to farm a full keeper first just to use it. Still easier to fight the endermen for pearls. And this is assuming you find the shrines to begin with, they would be a relatively rare occurance, akin to the wisp altars or wisp hills of Thaumcraft in rarity.

I am planning on a Creep plant that is used to craft Spectral dye. It will be a plant that transparent, grows only during the night, gives off faint light when it blooms.

-Adult plant can be used to obtain Spectral Dye or Harvested for a Soul. (Gains souls from the soulsand... extracts?)
-Seed wise...Random chance to grow on creep? much like Flowers on grass? If not, how are they obtainable?

Reap what you sow, Jade. Infuse a soul into vanilla seeds at the soul altar to first obtain this special seed. A little sacrifice goes a long way. c;

Also what did you think of the End Shrine idea for obtaining "easier" Enderpearls? You still have to farm mobs for the pearls. But now it doesn't have to be just endermen.

I can't fully put this to the test, alas finals and projects month :_<

I like both ideas

I'll have to check into structure generation coding, the altar it self will be easy to code.

I believe I know why some of you are getting odd armor textures. Seems Forge has changed the TextureArmor coding in the newer Builds.

I will update my build to #650 and provide an upload when I am finished,

Edit: Blah seems all the newest version of Forge all have problems. Even normal runs cause game crashes.... I am sticking with #601 build until the next major Forge update. (seems there is different thought processes going on with each of the developers, mostly with Textures).

The twilight forest has something like that in its Wizard tower-like dungeons. Maybe you can check that out for inspiration.

Sounds good to me.

-Finished Spectral Chicken (First ReAnimated Creature created ).

Re-working the ReAnimation system a little bit.

-Newly ReAnimated Creatures live for 1min 20sec. (max health is 8)
-Tamed ReAnimated Creatures live for 3min 20sec. (max health is 20)

-Players can use 1 unit of blood from a Bloodkeeper/vessel to keep their pets alive up to 1min 20secs longer.

-The Duration of the ReAnimated pet is based on how much health it has, about every 10sec the pet loses 1 health.

The damage the pet does is based on its type. Some creatures do more damage then others....

Its ALIVE ALIVE
Fun Fact: Dr. Frankenstein never names his creation although he chased it to the 4 corners of the earth after the creature destroyed Frankenstein's bride and when good ol doc Frankenstein died the creature took his name to be a constant pain of what he is and not human. Also the original story took place in Soviet Russia

Want to test out the ReAnimate System? Well here is your chance!!!

ATM only Chickens can be ReAnimated.

Please remember these important things:
-Necronomicon Pages can be found in dungeon chests and villages.
-Craft the Necronomicon with Rotten Flesh x 4, and Necronomicon Pages x 5. (Bottom left corner is the flesh).
-It costs 10 units of blood and the soul of the Fallen Mob to ReAnimate it.
-Tame the Spectral Pet mob by using a creepball.
-Extend the life of your Spectral Pet Mob by feeding it blood from a bloodkeeper/vessel.
-Spectral Pet that are low on health (Summon time) will display a unhappy villager icon over its head. Feed it!
-Because I am nice, You can't hurt your Spectral Pet once its tamed <3

Your Mission to test....
-Able to Find Lost Necronomicon Pages.
-Able to craft the Necronomicon Book.
-Necronomicon checks for Bloodkeepers and Vessels before being able to use (Right Click).
*10 Units of blood is required to use the Necronomicon on a single target*
*Able to ReAnimate any souls within a 5 block diameter from the player. Great for summoning a large army*

-Are Enchantment Text appearing while casting?
-Do you hear the "Dark Chant" sound?
-Are only Chicken Souls ReAnimating into Chickens.

-Is your Spectral Chicken Protecting you
-Are you able to tame the Spectral Chicken with a Creepball?
-Are you able to feed the Spectral Chicken from a Bloodkeeper / Vessel, and does it gain a regen potion effect?
-Does it sit/stay on command (Right click the mob).
-How do rate the Limited Spawned time? Too long.... too short?

Edit: Found one bug, Able to ReAnimate a large group of souls, and gaining free extra Spectral Pets even if player does not have enough blood ReAnimate all. -Fixed

Im on it

Ok my report is that the spectral chicken does spawn
1. it does regenerate after drinking blood
2. Can be tamed by creepball
3. Can hear the sound oooh scary
4. The enchanted text does appear
5. The spectral chicken doese protect me... after I get hit
6. The chicken does not follow me at all unless I'm holding a creepball or sometimes not all even when holding a creepball
7. Seems to display a negative thunder cloud above it
8. Doesn't sit though I can't tell at all
9. Named mine Bob
10. Yeah only chicken souls can be turned
