I agree, however you must Know I try to update quite offen. XD You will have your work cut out for you.

I am having trouble harvesting souls. I have both necromancy and this mod installed and when i harvest a soul with your scythes i get a 3D cube with stuff swirling around it that is obviously a soul, but I am unable to pick it up. After several seconds it then makes a noise and then vanishes.

Having the same problem as DeathDealer, I can make souls drop with Reap as usual but can't pick up the souls. Also, all the spoilers in the second OP are blank for me.

Right click with a Essence Keeper or Soulkeeper on the Souls go gather them.

Can't wait, been hoping for someone to create new videos of the revamp. Next update will provide updated Livingmetal and Biomass Textures and spectral Dye. (Then I am going to work on the Re-Animation system).

Hey, I like the mod you have created... unfortunately it does not work for me...
when i kill a mob (I have tried this on zombies and pigs) with a scythe it makes a grass breaking sound and makes this weird revolving item that sort of looks like the things the ender dragon heals itself with. I looked in not enough items and could not find the soul or spectral glass which I could also not smelt from soul sand. As far as I know all other items in the game are working fine but I can't test them out without the souls.
I use the current version of the harken scythe mod that is on the first post
My other mods are optifine, nei, magical crops, pet bats, rope plus, and utility mobs
Any help would be appreciated

Common mistake, This is Harken Scythe Revamp Now. Souls are the floating thingy you saw, which you collect by right clicking with a essence keeper or soulkeeper. Please read the 2nd post of the OP for more information on the Revamp.

Lastly, there are some items from the older version of Harken Scythe not yet readded.

Nope, but will be with the next update tho Sorry I had it disabled for so long, but I wanted to be sure there was something that took alot of resource to make before re-adding the event to gain good amounts.

put 3 ender pearls in a bucket shape=essence keeper
use a essence keeper to collect soul/blood(max=20 souls/40 blood)
vessel drops from harbingers(a ghost-like hostile mob which holds a scythe)

Thanks very much, guess I need to make a Crucible before I go collecting souls if its a 20 soul capacity. That hasn't changed then? (The recipe I mean)

Actually you need to collect souls or blood first before making an Altar (To craft the books). Think of the Essence Keepers as mobile Crucibles. Sure there cap is 20/40 souls and 40/80 Blood, but are very needed for amulets, talismans, and other items to funciton.

Crucibles are dire for maximum storage of souls or blood and are required for Altar usage.

With the Revamp, I focused on allowing Keepers and other items to be fully usable without having an Altar or Crucible created. This ensure the lvling (fresh worlds) characters can use items until they advance enough for Augments, armors, ect.
