Textures are textures, so others can easily redesign them in texturepacks... However it does spark the idea of having the ability to customize the armor a bit.... idk. Maybe one design is default. Then adding a new item to it would change its appearance.... /shrug. For now I will keep that idea on the back burner some I can get content out.
option 2: soulmancer-like....
so.....option 2(I changed my mind
I'm just a wanderer.....
Well then, good luck with that!
Forever protecting Hyrule with the power of the Master Sword, DragonMaster16.
The lich didn't drop a wrathful, but killing a hydra produced one. The lich's baselife is actually fairly low, its just the magic shields that protect it.
Well, thanks anyways.
so,what is your plan to do with the harbinger?
I'm just a wanderer.....
Damn, was hoping to try out the new moon before 1.5. Oh well, I'll just keep gathering blood in the mean time, can't wait to see how biomass works out.
I'm just a wanderer.....
Other news: Soulweave Armor is complete, and I am finishing up Bloodweave.
Also I have a new concept for a special Relic maybe?...
Relic: Sigil of Cleansing: Allows players to remove hunger debuff from consuming Souls and Blood by expending 1 lvl of Exp.
Lastly an adjustment to Soul feasting: Soul Feasting now restores 2 hunger per eaten soul. This allows blood for health and souls for hunger.
I don't know if the level idea would work out very well, because if you were a higher level it normally wouldn't be worth it, but if you were a low level you could basically do it every other kill. To me it seems like it would make it impossible to starve as long as you had mobs to kill, with the only downside being to higher level players.
Anyways I wanted to share another Idea with you guys about how Biomass is created.
I wanted it to be different then Soul Altar (Iron + souls = livingmetal), so I came up with this interesting concept
1. Players have to craft a new substance called "Creep", which is crafted from Rotten Flesh x 4, Spider Eyes x 4, and Netherwart x 1.
Adding this substance to the ground creates the Creep Block that looks similar to the Mycelium Block but red, and spreads only on dirt blocks. Creep blocks are not collectible upon mining.
Creep is used to nourish a new material that grows like a plant, which can only be planted on its surface.
2. A new type of seed material called "Pulsing Netherwart" can be crafted from Netherwart x 1 + 10 Blood from the Blood Altar. This Item is used for growing Biomass from Creep or as a taming item for Re-animation with the Necronomicon. Players can use the Bloodkeeper/Vessel in replacement of Bonemeal to grow Biomass quickly.
3. Harvesting Biomass is much like crops, and by using the Glaive bonus Biomass can be obtained.
Biomass x 9 can be crafted into a Biomass Block which rarely spawns a large blood pool on its surface, however likes to suck down those who don't tread carefully.
Thoughts?
The revamp was an early release, which included all the Core mechanics of the Mod and the most handy Items.
The next update will include:
-Soulweave and Bloodweave Cloth Armors (which btw is a pain in the butt, however you guys enjoy the dyeing ability... )
-New Moon Event
-Also may include Livingmetal and Biomass Equipment. (Depending on how much longer it takes to finish the Bloodweave textures).
the blood crop thingy is awesomely cool, but only sucking player down?no any damage?I hope it can act like a mixture of cactus and quicksand....
pulsing netherwart sounds totally not related to biomass
I'm just a wanderer.....
*turns head slightly* Hmmmm...... firstly, is it coincidental you called it creep like Starcraft Zerg creep? and uh, since its a farming thing will biomass then be useable to plant more biomass as you go on? and in that case is the biomass used directly to make the armors etc or do you require a blockworth of it? I don't mind it, since it does get away from the standard issue a little I suppose.
and the soul versions are my soul pines?
for the biomass blocks, make it you're able to spam jump to get out of it unlike extrabiomes quicksand pits. >_>

biomass armor....maybe just simply combine biomass (or block) with iron with crafting table?
