Been racking my brain on other Spectral Glass usage =/ Bottles would be an easy craft, however not sure it they would be useful... /shrug
Lastly, should the Harvest Moon Event be held on Full moons or New Moons?
Full moons are easy to see because a simple /time set night or 12600 is a full moon.
where as you need to do a little research when new moon times are

As for Soul Feasting. I am trying to come up with a balanced duration times. I want Potions to be meaningful, must keep that in mind.
Soul: (Normal creature kills)
Rank 0 Potion effects.
Duration: 30sec
Grieving Soul: (Player Kills)
Rank 1 Potion effects.
Duration: 1min
Culled Soul: (Harvest Moon Kills)
Rank 2 Potion effects
Duration: 1min 30sec
Wrathful Soul: (Boss kills)
Rank 3 Potion effects.
Duration: 2min
Based on feedback, I'll make more adjustments.
Also I think I will have Grieving souls be worth the same as normal souls or not usable in Soul Crucibles, due to exploiting reasons.
New Idea:
May Introduce a way to make Invisible Armor/ Cloak/ Item that uses Soulkeepers to maintain the appearance (well should say no appearance XD )
Might do either an Invisibility ring, Pendant, Cloak (Chestplate slot) or some other random Item.
This equipment will be made from Spectral Glass
Atm I am working on more Redstone functions to Spectral Glass. Below is the break down of changes coming your way to make Spectral Glass most impressive building materal.
Auto Functions:
During the day, block is passable.
During the night, block is solid.
Manual Functions:
During the day if powered: Block is Solid. Also all blocks within a 30 Block diameter from powered block is Soild

Example of range:
I may reduce the over all field by 5 or 10, The idea is large bridges/ramps/enclused areas can be powered with a single switch. However if this hurts puzzle makers or just small area in general speak up I want to hear feed back
Slight change of idea, I think am going to create an Generator Block that powers all Spectral Glass in an area. This way both Spectral Glass can be used in small and Large areas

Here is a sneak peak of what the Spectral Phase Generator will do
That is the total area of protection with just 1 Spectral Phase Generator on top of the church. (not counting underground possibilities).
FYI, Spectral Phase Generator when powered and a Soulkeeper is installed, Phases all Spectral Glass and Panes to solidify during the day. Think of it as a force field ran on redstone and souls.
Depending on feedback, I may reduce the coverage area (would help with lag I believe, if any is generated) -or- 30 block diameter might be a little too much for just 1 Generator. (Generators can meld their area of effects with other generators).

I see Forge just released another update. Updating now from 332 to 341. (New update will be uploaded with the new forge on release). Maybe there is a new issue with this slight forge change? Taking a look.
Edit: Updated to the new Forge Src's, no errors occurred. Make sure when you install Forge on Client delete the Meta.inf from your Minecraft.jar

In your mob research do you think of implementing the spectral glass/phanton shield ability to become invisible during day time? Is this possible in a mob???

Soul Feasting has had its durations Increased!
-Soul: Rank 0 potion Effect, lasts 30secs
-Grieving Soul: Rank 1 potion Effect, lasts 1min
-Culled Soul: Rank 2 potion Effect, lasts 1min 30secs
-Wrathful Soul: Rank 3 potion Effect, lasts 2mins
New Soul Types/Rarities:
[Grieving Soul] Reaped from PvP
[Culled Soul] Reaped during the Harvest Moon Event (Later will be from new rare mob spawns during event)
[Wrathful Soul] Reaped from Bosses
New Soul Crucible Captured souls:
Grieving Soul worth 1, Req. 5 per fill.

Once powered by redstone and installed with a filled Soulkeeper, the generator will power all Spectral Glass / panes within a 30x30 cubed area.
- Non Soulkeeper Installed Spectral Phase Generator.
- Installed Soulkeeper and Active Spectral Phase Generator.
- Exhasted generator needing a new Soulkeeper installed.
Spectral Glass/Panes Adjustments:
[Spectral Glass] and [Spectral Glass Pane] Have had a full new Redstone functions!!
Redstone Power Active:
-During Day = Solid Spectral Glass
-During Night = Illusion state Spectral Glass
Spectral Phase Generator Power Active:
-Redstone Active + Day = Illusion
-Redstone Avtive + Night = Solid
Over all to not over complicate things... Redstone changes the state of the Spectral Glass to either on or off, while other sources such as Spectral Phase Generator and Time of day effect them. I suggest playing around with it to fully understand how powering works
-Nextly Spectral Glass and Panes are now Fully Blast Resistant. No more creepers blowing up your barriers.
Bug Fixes:
-Invisiable Gui Soul Altar Text- Has been fixed. Sorry for thoses new to the mod and not knowing how many catupered souls you had T_T
-Edible Livingmetal- And for those who love sticking random things in their mouths.... Sorry but Livingmetal Ingots are no longer Edible
What is coming Next?
Next update will feature all the new Mobs content.
Harvest Moon Event will have new stronger rare monster spawns. These new mobs will drop Culled Souls
Summoning Altar will be Completed: Allowing players to summoning undead/creature armies using the rare souls they collected
Lets see, start simple. Be sure Forge is installed Correctly. Be sure the latest version of Forge is install correctly into your minecraft.jar with the Meta.inf deleted.
Next Be sure if your using mcpatcher or Optifine that you have the latest version as well the correct install.
Lastly To be sure you simply placed the Harken Scythe Mod (1.4.2HarkenScythev1.0.4Forge.zip) into your Mods folder. Don't unzip it, just place the whole thing in there.
As for the "Charge up" to perform the Reap attack, that is intended This helps balance out this weapon with other weapons in the game.
Remember a Reap is a Full Heart and a half of damage over a Sword, Plus its a cleave attack. Can't have you "Crissaegrim" (Diamonds to who ever knows this reference) all in your path, now can we?
Edit well the meta file was still there because forge reinstalls it i deleted it went into my world and still i see no mobs i know forge is installed because it shows the bo when you open minecraft (the loading forge box) so idk what do do now maybe i have the wrong forge im using minecraftforge-universal-6.0.1.341.zip is it the right one?
Edit: Just looked around all the coding and re-ran client and server tests, all seem to be working correctly.
If forge reinstalls the Meta.inf, then just leave it then. You are using the correct version of Forge, so no problems there.
Only thing I can think of is Optifine, its known to throw mod textures around time to time. Be sure you have the latest version installed.
so i don't know whats wrong then
1. Be sure Forge API is installed in your Minecraft.jar and Meta folder is deleted. Use the Newest Forge which is the 341 unvi.
Do this by first opening your Minecraft.jar with a .zip type program. Delete Meta.inf First.
Drag all Forge files from its .zip into the Minecraft.jar
Close both Forge.zip and Minecraft.jar
Run Minecraft, so all the correct documents are setup.
2. Place HarkenScythe.zip in your .minecraft/mods Folder
3. After first game load, feel free to tweak Item.IDs in your HarkenScythe.CFG file as needed. (found in .minecraft/config folder)
Lastly, the only thing that can come to mind since you don't have Optifine. Would be either Mod ID conflicts or old Config files. Sirlagalot used to have a similar problem for awhile... however found the problem.
