Livingmetal Tools do not regen in chests, not sure if intentional.
Livingmetal armor regens REALLY, REALLY slow. and seems to be based on durability, meaning the lower it is, the slower it will regen.
Those are the bugs i remember for now...
I think the sword should be made from seperate parts. The blade and the hilt should be made seperately. the hilt would be made of an eye of the ender, living metal, and blood steel (that's the blood material right?). Then the blade would be made of blood steel and living metal.
Hilt would be infused with souls, and Blade would be infused with blood.

Thanks for the great vid
The first is working as intended, as the the armor repairing based on durability... I'll check into it. -Thanks for your reports.
Looks like an interesting concept. Soon I finish up soul gathering and re-add all the items back in, I'll go to work on this weapon. Should be a fun item to create.
First on the list to do, I believe I am going to make souls behave much like XP orbs.
Here is the idea:
-Slay a target with a scythe or by soulsteal augment. Slain foe drops a soul to the ground.
-If player has a Keeper on hand and has enough room to store it, the soul will suck into the player (Just like exp).
-Or-
I could allow souls to float around the character if they don't have enough room (much like when you try to absorb exp too fast) and will continue to orbit the character until they have enough room to store them in a keeper. However the souls will have a lifespan and fade away if the player does not absorb them in the lotted time. (I am guessing 2 - 5 mins).
Over all I think this gives soul gathering a bit more interest. Heck I may be able to allow souls that orbit the player to provide other bonuses (such as added armor, health regen, or even needed to cast a certain spell/relic).
What are your thoughts?
The other route I can go is a simple floating cube looking soul, which floats up and down very slowely in place once a mob is killed. The player then needs to right click with a keeper in hand to collect it.
Basically it will look like a semi transparent slime cube floating in place, awaiting interaction from a player.
Next on the things to do: I believe I am going to change the Harvest Moon event a little bit. such as...
-Killing during the New moon yields x2 the normal soul worth of the type of soul that drops.
-Culled souls will now be rare drop / drops from rare mobs (Harbinger).
This allows fighting a boss during the New Moon (which is very hard) to provide awesome rewards in double the soul worth and I can add special rare drops (Maybe that boss essence to craft better gear or gain access to the different realm).
As for the Full Moon event, I am still looking into it. To be 100% honest... I believe the only way to do it is to link the event to a special Block. The Block would store the number of days inside its Meta data (which is always saved). This block could be called something like "Hunters Altar, "tribute", ect, something that means "Seeking a challenge and accepting a dangerous outcome".
However, important note is... if this block is destroyed, then the counter will be resetted.
As always, post your thoughts
Ghost Harbinger. Spawns in underground caverns only. Rarely spawns. Makes use of a new soul, the Ghostly Soul, a pale blue soul, worth 10 souls. These ghostly souls spawn around underground caverns at the same rate as Ghost Harbingers, and are the souls of miners killed by monsters. However. ghost harbingers take the form of these souls to lure other miners/soul manipulators to their doom. When approached, ghost harbinger souls turn into a pale Harbinger, which gives a ghostly soul when killed. Other than that, ghost harbingers are exactly the same as their normal counterparts. Just an idea for extra underground content. Can either check the soul for a free 10 souls, or risk being ambushed by a harbinger which ALSO gives 10 souls, provided you manage to kill it. Ghost Harbingers have a 1% chance to drop a Ghost Harbinger Hood, which allows you to see real ghostly souls and ghost harbinger souls.
Concerning the Ult sword, perhaps the dragon egg could be used to imbue the sword with the soul of a dragon, for power. The sword is useless until you imbue it with a dragon soul, which helps the material absorb blood and souls in harmony. ( Perhaps they repel each other normally. I mean, i dont think souls, which are dead things, want to see more blood ).
and....I want the simple soul feast back....so,drinkable soul keeper ?(with the half-transparent slime animation
harvest moon event.....maybe increase the spawn rate of harbingers or give buff to harbingers?(more danger, more reward, fair
full moon event block....I don't understand the plan....so,yeah~
I'm just a wanderer.....
Consumes 1 soul per drink, to give random potion buff. (Soulweave extends/improves effect)
Consumes a range of Blood depending on how hurt the player is, by default I believe 4 blood = 1/2 heart. (Blood themed armor improves the health/ decreases the amount of blood needed to heal)
Umm... think of the Full Moon event block as a memory card, or something that saves how many Full moons have passed since the block was up. It plainly serves as a way for the an event to active when certain amount of the same Moon phases have passed.
--Thanks for the feed back on the Exp type souls, I'll go with the slowness floating cube route then. However I don't think I can have Both a Light source and Animation (Floating). Light is a special Block feature, while movement is an Entity Feature.... =/
Else I could go with the Ender Crystal type look...
After a while, the Livingmetal armor will LOOK like it's repairing but if you take it off and put it back on it will go back down.
Also another bug is that Livingmetal won't repair at ALL after a while.
News on soul gathering... I am now using a render model similar to the Ender crystal.
The soul floats up and down with things spinning around it, also I was able to link a Light given block to soul entity to create a small amount of light in the area
Now to allow it to reward the player with soul amount when touched and all that good stuff
