Going through checks right now. So far unable to reproduce errors. Do the last two checks to see what the problem may be. Atm tho, I would say its a Old Forge API issue. Be sure to update to the newest one posted a few days ago. (believe Oct. 8th). I know for sure the new Version of Forge had many... "Adjustments" do to methods.

Lol, got it. A little item from Asgard Shield snuck into the Talisman coding. Fix is being coding as we speak. New Download will be up in 5 mins

Update: 10/15/12. 1.3.2 Harken Scythe v1.0.1 Released: Bug fix with Soulkeepers.

Whats new?
Sorry nothing new has been added with this update, however a pretty major "Oops" has been fixed. The problem occured when a Filled Soulkeeper was turning into an Empty Soulkeeper.

This is why errors occurred when players tried using the talisman or using a Amulet when a Soulkeeper was to be drained completely.

Whats coming up?
New to Harken Scythe in the next update will be:

New Blocks: Spectral Glass and Spectral Planes, made from Soulsand.

New Soul Altar recipe: Turn sand into Soulsand.

New way to obtain souls: Convert Soulsand to Souls using the Soul Crucible. And Small chance of souls dropping out of Soulsand when mined (like Gravel and Flint)

Lastly random goodies, if they make it into the next update or not

This mod is pretty darned awesome. Not that many mods with the same sort of idea. Plenty of mods with scythes. Not many with soul harvesting.
Just one small problem I noticed; one can't eat souls directly. I mean, why add souls if you're not going to feast on them?(the cake sounds nice, but it's not the same as having a Living Metal Scythe running through a village harvesting villager souls left and right while saying over VOIP "SOOOOULS! I MUST HAVE MORE SOULS!" or something like that.
Also, I wasn't sure, what exactly IS that recipe for a Bottle O' Enchanting? I can't really tell for sure.

Bottle O'Enchanting is instilled from an Awkward Potion.

As for eating souls.... interesting idea... I will give this one some thought. Maybe a random potion effect when eaten (good and harmful effects). While finishing up the Spectral Glass, i'll come up with some ideas to fulfill your Soul Hunger issues

Make the potion effect random so the player develops an addiction for them

As with all updates: The system works like this.

Minecraft Updates ---> MCP Updates

Forge Updates ---> Forge API mods Update

Modloader updates ---> Modloader mods Update --->

FML Compatibility with Modloader Mods update.


Over all, I will continue to update both Harken Scythe and Asgard Shield as Minecraft and Forge continues to grow , however there is always a waiting game for API's to update before modders can update their mods.

Glad i could review the mod man, it has some really unique and awesome features

The modding API is more of what I was alluding to, as we have yet to hear word of when/how it will be implemented.

Honestly as closed lip of Mojang, I believe the Mod API won't be out with 1.4 or around anytime soon. I know Bukkit is under Mojang now, however they seem to just continue to work on Bukkit (Which may or may not be the Mod API Mojang is talking about).

Have to see what the future holds


Upcoming Changes to Nether Amulet:
Working on a new Nether Amulet Design. Seems with 1.3.1 Mojang added an Auto Portal Creation Method. Meaning... Teleporting from the Nether generates a new Portal if player does not used a portal to leave.

While I can see it useful for some reasons.... atm this Nether Amulet design will litter worlds with random portals. (could be interesting with Nether mobs spawning in random area now....... Each time you leave hell, you bring hell closer to Overworld). But I am not all to sure if everyone would enjoy random pigmen running about.. Might make a poll for it.

Can you make it so that it works with Risugami's ModLoader? I would love to get this mod but forge is not compatable with Risugami's modloader. ):

Forge has its own mod loader. Most of the mods that use modloader are compatible with forge. =)

Normally only Modloader mods that change a base class can't work with FML. The Forge team is very good at keeping Forge Compatible with most mods out there. So enjoy your Modloader mods with Forge!

News:

After watching a Modspotlight that featured SirLagalot and Energygod5 (which will be posting soon on the OP). Gave me a wonderful idea....

Going to adjust the Reap feature to allow Rare Player Souls to drop during PvP encounters. These new souls will be worth more in the crucible, better potion effects when eaten, and maybe be used to craft some special (high price) Items.

I'll keep everyone posted was the idea matures and fruitates into some thing wonderful for the PvP Community.

How did you find the video lol. My side Isn't up yet, and I don't think energy sent it to you. Do you just keep searching for you mod, and hope to find videos?

lol, nah. My GF surfs and posts her LetsPlay stuff all the time on Youtube (Alfawolf06), and she randomly finds videos.

Btw, over all good video. The Amulet issue you had, was do to you not holding down the Right Click to cast the teleportation. You will see the little durability bar go down until it reaches the bottom.
