Blazing lag munchkins from the Nether! I added the mod into the mod folder, launched it up (I already have the most recent version of Forge running, and the only other mod is Rei's minimap), and I get huge framerate lag spikes every couple seconds before I even start a world - it's in the options screen, the opening splash screen and everything. Havent had this issue with anything else Am I doing something wrong?
Nether lag should be alleviated a bit. The lag is due to the increased processing required for nether trees (needs more than overworld trees).
Also fixed BC bug in 1.4.7
Did extra bits of bug fixing, but replaced original file. Download again to get it!
I love your mod and have been using it for ages. I have a problem with this newest version, I've started with a fresh minecraft install of 1.5.1
With just Forge installed I get 63-64 fps and after adding Forgotten Nature I only have 3 fps. Do you have any idea what it could be?
Just wanted to let you know that this self-conflict got fixed with your updated 1.2.2 version!
And most important, the incompatibility with Underground Biomes i was suffering got fixed as well, so i'm a happy man now
Thanks!
JEFFJONES33
I just loaded this up and it is smooth as silk.
Is that really the only mod you have installed? If so check your texture packs and view distances.
Nightshade_Proleath
OH MY GOD, this mods rocks.
I love what you have done, with the saplings to twigs, and all the other touches.
I just can't play this game with out your mod.
Thanks for your hard never ending work.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
I did say that I started with a fresh install of 1.5.1 with only Forge and Forgotten Nature installed, so no there are no other mods or texture packs installed.
Nightshade_Proleath
Anyway, I have tried mc1.5.1 with ONLY FN and every version of Forge 7.7.0 -7.7.1 (before anyone asks, I was only using one version at a time ) and I still get 2-3fps. As a test I have installed 2 other Biome mods ( A Sufficient # of Biomes and Better Biomes) without FN and I get a solid 50fps while flying and generating new chunks.
I've been successfully been using FN up to version 1.4.7 with 187 other mods installed and I have never had this kind of problem.

IDs conflict with many mods.Much time is spent on fixing conflicts(manually, without id resolver).Maybe you can make "auto assign"?
I use close to 100 mods and use NEI to do an ID dump to assign numbers manually and find that this does not take much time. I would not want it to auto assign ID's for me.
Getting a crash when breaking rope, or breaking a block where the topmost piece of rope is attached. Is this a bug with FN or an incompatibility with one of my other mods?
Crash report below. I can provide more information as required.

I am having issues with tree logs' texture. Leaves are fine, everything else is fine as I saw, but all fruit trees are missing textures for some reason. The tree itself is transparent. Any suggestions on fixing?

There is a problem with intermittent lag. It should only be a problem on lower end computers. I have pondered this problem for a long time and I'm constantly trying to find solutions. Honestly, it might be right under my nose....... I'll keep looking.
the logs are not visible-just the logs nothing else- i'm using bibliocraft, smartmoving, optifine, millenaire mods thts all i don't know if these are the problems-ill look into this further...
Could be an ID problem with one of those other mods. Try installing FN by itself to see if the problem persists. You could also try installing optifine.

It's working perfectly now, there arrears to have been some problem with the downloaded zip. The 1st couple of times I downloaded the zip was over 5MB and the last time I downloaded it is 1.65MB. Anyway, thanks for checking. GREAT MOD !!
Alright. It SHOULD work fine. I didn't install buildcraft to test it >.>

Can this mod be configured to not add anything on the overworld, and still generate in mystcraft ages?

Just a thought
Awesome mod, btw, one of the ones I won't play without.
That's a bug with this mod. I can squish it on my weekend.
There is a problem with intermittent lag. It should only be a problem on lower end computers. I have pondered this problem for a long time and I'm constantly trying to find solutions. Honestly, it might be right under my nose....... I'll keep looking.
