I always thought it would be better to save the portal coordinates to the player NBT and then spawn the player when they die. Thus keeping the player and keeping the atmosphere still alive (lol that doesn't really exist cause there are no toolsets and it breaks immersion with minecraft in general...) instead of just spawning them back in the overworld at their spawn. (The problem arises if the player has no bed, making it not seem like a dream dimension at all... on that note the portal should be a bed like AbrarSyed's modjam dream dimension)
I know this isnt what your suggesting but do you think that we shouldnt make the bed explode when your in the dimension, do you think that it would be easier if you could sleep to set your spawn?

It's already set that beds should work in any dimension you can respawn in, but there isn't really a night in vethea to skip... But if you do that it should work, you would need a way for players to obtain them in vethea. Also, beds shouldn't explode there, but the player currently can't get them.
Is it a glitch that when you enchant a book in the altar of corruption, it does not really become an enchanted book, it becomes a book that is enchanted? Because I'd rather make an altar of corruption than an enchantment table.
Then i guess ill add one to TheHunger as a trade for how many pearls i wonder and what kind...
It would be best to spawn a bed on the other side of the portal, that way the player won't end up on the top of the world before even finding one of the villages.

can you give a number on how many people are actually working on this progect?
Well if by working you mean how many coders are working on the code?
That would be 3-4 depending on how ya count
Either way the amount of work any given coder can do varies depending on his afk life and if the current problems are within an area for which he is proficient, so a pure head count dosen't give any indication as to the speed at which tasks are completed and can't be used to consider an ETA.

wow small group
but yeah im an experienced modeller and I know what there lives must be like execialy (spelt that wrong) with all the people nagging and whining about updates!!!!
thanks for responding though!!!
And as I have stated it will take even longer before it's out.
I hope we get a overhaul for drpg ;p
Once this update is out I'd like to start on a new project of sorts.
I'd want to work on changing things like the identical dimensions of twilight into proper dimensionns.
But that would be for later

Now that is what I wantec to hear! The Dimensions are almost always the same, so adding new things to them should increase the fun of this mod!

Yeah, that's my plan at least but first I'd need to get the stuff working for 1.6.
The biggest problem for myself will be testing the 1.6 version and making sure everything is present that used to be there.
At least all the important parts
As I didn't play the mod myself untiI recently when I joined the team, I'm not yet familiar with how everything used to be.
And neither with what people find to be the most important aspects of the mod. That last thing I would very much like to know!!!
One thing I disliked when I explored the twilight dimensions where how similar they where, I'd like to make them be more different!
So that's exactly what I will work on after the update

I cannot imagine that there will be a stable release within the next few weeks!
If that is the case. Then that'll mean that 1.7 would be out before this mods hits 1.6.2. I wonder how long would it take for it to get to 1.7. If the code changes a lot again. Should we be seeing a 5 - 7 month gap between updates again ?
Do not take this the wrong way. I'm just basing it off how long it's taking for the mod to move from 1.4.7. It's just a wild guess I'm making if 1.7 does come out just around the corner from this mods next update. What would be your guess on how that will go Judging it from 1.5.2 & 1.6.2.
Does it matter?

Yes it is a bug.

I guess a 1.5.2 is out of the question?... Sad day...
