You are an impatient idiot.
They are planning to do that, which you would know if you read the twitter, idiot. -.-
dude im not being impatient its just that they said 1.5 was going to come out soon... in march. so almost a month ago. i am going to start a survival series but i cant get nether quarts if i start with 1.4.7 tey can just come out with the 1.5 update and then have the major update come out LATER.

Are you an idiot? READ THE PREVIOUS POSTINGS. They are making a 1.5.1 quick fix update for the regular DRPG, THEN updating with the overhaul. Read previous posts, before making comments like that. You're just like the other hundreds of people saying "update now" as if that will make them work faster. Realize they are working on two separate projects, first the 1.5.1 (which I think is in beta) and the overhaul, which they are still working on. This isn't to mention that they are 3 less Devs right now, so calm down and read back like 30 or 40 pages to see what's going on.
I say 30 or 40, so that gives you a long while of stuff to do while you wait.
I agree. These are two things that would really make the mod more... I dunno... complete. Having generated structures and biomes in the Overworld, to make things a bit more interesting than simply having a bunch of new Mobs spawning, as well as having a sort of final boss at the end of every dimension... kinda like the dungeon bosses in the Aether? (not really sure about that comparison, as I've never tried the Aether mod).
I agree to agree with you. This is just an idea, but there could be a boss for each dimension that drops an item that is required to light the next portal. For example, the dravite portal would stay the same using the twilight clock, but the azurite portal would need the dravite blocks as well as the dravite boss item. This would help fill in the many gaps of no boss fights in between dravite and augite in my opinion. Hope this idea helps! I'm a huge fan of the mod. (Btw i know the dimension names are changing a lot so I just called them the original names).
people, we should ignore the update now people! the devs are not even responding to them so should we, everytime we told a spammer to stop another one came up. we should IGNORE.
When I look in the bottom right corner, a white bar appears where the Arcana bar should be. I have Optifine installed so that might be the issue. If you know of a solution, please let me know!
A question for everybody though, would you, the community, appreciate more snapshots in the future to get releases before competition?
Sorry, I am not on twitter, so I am responding on the forum.
The snapshot release method seems to work quite well for Mojang. I would strongly encourage that in the future if possible. Snapshot releases will likely find more bugs faster than just beta testing and it would allow a faster look at compatibility with other mods.
I would suggest though, that you would need to keep some public form of known bugs and bug tracking for it to be effective. Even if it is just a bullet list as apposed to anything more formal.
Possibly have them submitted to the forum to screen out the mod install issues and such, then have the web moderators enter the bugs that are real to the list. Devs can cross them out as they are fixed.
I would love to suggest that having a bug list would reduce the amount of "IS IT DONE YET?" posts, but given what I see on this forum...
It would help most people and it just might reduce the spam.
Krwminer has a good point about making the mod releases snapshots, along with a bug post topic( which would be awsome if reporting a bug requires a ss) also maybe they should make a children mod the automatically updates the mod when you log in or finds the update released by the mod maker which gives a dl link to it. Also another note people will always ask "where is the update" no matter what you do. just ignore them because they cant read. ;p
A divineRPG cape was considered at one point, by myself, however i found no possible way to get it implemented without an external mod
And just so people know, regardless of whether it is a snapshot or not, chances are, beta testing WILL take place regardless, we don't want a buggy release that crashes your game now, do we?
I, by no means, was suggesting getting rid of the beta testing. Just that a snapshot release is likely to cover different areas than beta testing.
There has to be some amount of testing before any release, snapshot or not.
I don't recall referencing your name, nor do i see me quoting you, i was simply stating what was said, he said, about a bug post topic, this implied to me, that he thought beta testing was going, perhaps you ought to read my post, and a post i quote more carefully..
Sorry, I am new to all this forum stuff and still trying to get a handle on it.
I did not get that sevenswords1 thought there was not going to be a beta. But I did go back and re-looked at what I wrote and saw that it could infer I meant that snaphots would replace beta testing.
I wanted to clarify that. I quoted your comment because I thought it had relevance to this.

IT SHOULDNT BE 30 OR 40 PAGES BACK... they said the update was going to come out in march and tomorrow its may... they should be done... why dont they just wait till AFTER they finish the 1.5.1 version and THEN they can finish the "Overhaul"

I don't think you seem to understand. They are going to do the 1.5.1 update and afterwords they are doing the overhaul. They are 2 separate updates. Maybe if you actually read the posts on even the last 6 pages you would understand. He said 30-40 just so you have something to do while you wait for the update, as it also had a much more in-depth look at everything that has been going on. It has been a busy week.

I don't know... How about trying the two links under the huge "DOWNLOADS" in the OP?
Indeed.
They will update it with 1.5.2 because 1.5.2 is just bug fixes, right? So they will update it so it can be compatible.
Divine rpg is a good mod...

I will try and be more careful in the future.
Again, my apologies.
Because refactoring.
Ringoster you did a very good job at doing this one. Really loved it!
