So this mod introduces five new blocks:
Hybrid Iron/Coal block:
Hybrid Gold/Iron block:
Hybrid Diamond/Gold block:
Hybrid Redstone Block:
Hybrid Glowstone:
The glowstone is unique as it gives off redstone power as well as light:
These spawn naturaly in 8-block veins,and can be used as both items in the block.
You can make items like pickaxes,swords,or shovels...And stuff like torches.

But keep in mind that since its two ores in one,that each ore has around half the 'nutrients' as a normal piece of that ore. So a hybrid iron pickaxe,unlike a normal iron pick that has 250 uses,will have 125 uses. And a regular torch with a in-game light rating of '1F' will have '.650F'. So your basicaly trading ease of use for performance.
(Uploading recipes and block descriptions in just a bit for the 1.6.1.1 update)
NOTE: Please dont right click anything in or out of all 3 furnaces in the 1.6/1.6.1.1 update. Itll either crash your game, or not put it in the correct slot. Me and MrrGingerNinja are both trying to fix this, so hang tight.

Sorry everyone,i forgot to put it in,but this mod REQUIRES modLoader! sorry again! (Oh,and another thing,to get your hybrid coal,put the Hybrid Iron/Coal ingot from mining the ore into a furnace!)

something like a fusioner were you can fuse items like diamond and gold and needs fuel like a furnace but it needs to learn the hibrid item first so you must give a natural diamond/gold hibrid and a text appears saying: item learned (and here goes the name of the item learned) then you can fuse the items.
you can make that the hibrid diamond pickaxe can mine diamond/gold hibrid ore (some suggestions)
Very interesting and very original! New mods people have been making haven't been very innovative recently but this one is obviously an exception! Great work!
EDIT: I would recommend making your mod Forge compatible. It provides near infinite sprites and easy compatibility with other mods.
