Was just going to ask that to! Thanks for answering us both, I hate having to ask little things like this, but if the wiki is down, I don't have much choice Do you know if this works with Tinkers Construct tools?
If you use a regular shovel, it should work.

I tested this my self not to long ago, and it did not work for me. If you using Iguana Tweaks for Tinker's Construct with this mod, you will want to make sure that you are able to craft the vanilla shovels.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
There really isn't documentation right now, you might be able to find youtube spotlights about it, which is probably your best bet right now until Gwafu finds a different wiki to rehost on.
Is there some sort of API or Minetweaker hook that would allow me to add my own recipes? Being able to combine this and Pam's Harvestcraft for strange fruit wines would be fun.

[Scott]: Things I have managed to get in the last five minutes, in order of ascending importance: cobblestone, planks, lapis lazuli, redstone, gold, coal, diamond. VERY LOST.
it doesnt affect the game, but it takes longer till the game has loaded. I have tried to add a bambooSalb.png file, but he doesnt recognise. the wierdest part is that the texture of the bamboo slabs are fine. does anybody have suggestions to fix this?
What do we do for documentation now that the wiki is gone? The manual is very outdated.
For example, how do you grow grapes? I don't remember how they have to be planted. Do you still have to use an trellis of iron bars like in the 1.5.2 manual?

Just use fence and rope. You place 2 sets of fence posts 2-3 high any distance from each other, add rope to the top of post, then plant the seeds. Make sure to make a horizontal rope between the top posts to support extra leaves and maximize grape production. Take a look at the village grape vines for inspiration.

No, now you use rope (craft 1 lead = 8) anchored on both ends with vanilla fences (you can't "tie" rope to bamboo ones) and the vines grow 2 blocks out in each direction along the rope. As far as I can tell, grapevines are back to growing indefinitely until they hit a fence. Also, hops now grow along vertical ropes that touch the soil, up to 5 blocks tall.
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
Okay, thanks. My grape-growing setup was correct--I think what happened to my plants is that they were too close by when I started blowing the Horn of the Canopy at my tree farm.
Suggestion: Since you already have scaffolds and rope, could you add Rope Ladders, with the same build-away-from-you behavior as the scaffolds but going down, and combining the free-hanging characteristic of vines with wooden ladders' possession of a hitbox?

I don't know if there was mentioned, but I accidentally clicked right on the fermenting barrel with water bottle, and the game crashed. I started again, barrel was filled with water, and the bottle was in my hand.
Are you right-clicking a shovel on hoed dirt? That's how they're made now.

Out of curiosity do you still accept suggestions ?
Using tarma root from Ars Magica 2 to make root beer would be awesome !

Spice of Life pairs well with both mods, and for added "fun" *insert challenge* you could add hunger overhaul.
