Now all we need is the ability to press ore berries from Tconstruct and we can all die of drinking metal.
You poor surface-dwellers have never tasted good, fresh metal juice. All the metal in the Shallow Lands is dead and stale, no wonder it's unhealthy.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
Growthcraft is pretty awesome (:
I've had a lot of trouble finding beehives in my Biomes O Plenty world tho.
I added the biomes into the config, but it's hard to tell if it's working. Has anyone had any sucess with that?
I'm using Biomes'o Plenty as well and have yet to find any bees. I looked into the config folder and not sure how to open these .conf files. Anyone have a suggestion for a non-malicious .conf file opener? Or better yet have a copy of growthcraft configs with Biomes'O Plenty set up for it?

Notepad++ is an excellent little open source editor that will do what you need. Free, safe, and excellent reputation.

For Windows users:
Any word-processing/editing program like Word or Notepad/Wordpad will work. Just right-click, mouse over Open With, and click on a program. I don't know how a mac user would edit it. EDIT: NINJA'd Drat it.
I, however, cannot get the fermentation barrels to work at all. I know it should take 20 minutes for it to do anything, but my sake and cider are still young and many Minecraft days have passed.
k, now I really am embarrassed. Thanks for the bonk on the head.
As for the barrels, I've found I have to start with netherwart like most brewstand recipes. If netherwart wont start it then you have a problem I do not.
I like the the way hydration works with rice paddies, but placing water blocks is really cumbersome. If would be nice to be able to right-click with a water bucket (or any other 1000mb container) to directly hydrate connected paddies in a range of 3 or 5 blocks (odd numbers, please!). Water blocks would still work like they do now, for automated dispenser setups.
It'd also be nice to prevent two paddy fields from connecting, in order to get that nice plot pattern and to make it easier to hydrate sections of paddies as described above. Make it so a dry paddy block won't connect to a hydrated paddy block when placed.
Hey Gwafu (and anyone else interested), we have added your awesome mod to our pack! It is a pack based on creating a challenging world with lots of magical ways to deal with it! If you'd like to check it out, go here:
So is their a way to make it work with minefactory reloaded because I see you removed support also what about the village farms can you add them or add them in a config?

M'kay. (I did read).
I'm pretty sure dry paddies don't connect to flooded paddies. What do you mean by that?

Let's say I want two areas of paddy blocks to not connect, for cosmetic reasons or whatever. I hoe one area into paddies and hydrate it, and then I hoe an area right next to it. When I hydrate the second area, the paddy blocks of the two areas don't connect.
Is anybody else having issues getting paddies to take? I hoe them but they change, then immediately change back, (similar to not being able to reach a block). Ready to start a nice rice farm but I cant seem to get anything planted. We do use a lot of mods on our server, its the Direwolf20 pack, with pams harvestcraft- if there's any known incompatibility there.

If I get this right, you want an specific area to not connect to a specific area of paddies? That would be impossible to do (or just inefficient). Can't you just place dirt blocks in between areas? D:

For the record, I had was using a sword when I broke the beehive and got nothing. Barely took any time - I assumed it's supposed to be harvestable in just about any method. (It was, however, not a vanilla weapon but the Flux-Infused sword from Thermal Expansion's Redstone Arsenal, if it makes a difference.)

Have you put nether wart into the ingredient slot?
Wow.... Thanks! Man I dont see how I could have missed that lol.
Empty hand should be ok - TiC tools always give me nothing,

I'll look into the Tinker's Construct issue.
Yep. 2.0.3.

It's an SMP bug, will be fixed in 2.0.3.
