Landscape works with Forge 4.1.1 build 251 but does not work with 4.2.5 build 303. I confirmed this with fresh copies of minecraft in each case - 3 time in the case of Forge 4.2.5 build 303 using the link he specified to download a fresh copy of forge.
But perhaps I should warn the modmaker that the crash everyone has been getting (NoSuchMethodError: va.getSpawnFuzz()I) doesn't happen when you load minecraft with the mod but later when you create a world to play in.
Will you update this so that it works with the latest recommended version of forge which is 425.303? because it doesnt at all, it always crashes on world generation.
Also your mods are not compatibile...BicBiomes isnt compatible with this mod, which is odd because you would think the same mod creators would want to make their mods work with each other...
Finally, what is the difference between this mod and BicBiomes? Because they seem almost exactly the same
Using MultiMC, this mod needs to be installed manually into an instance, AND be in the Core Mods folder within the program. It tends to show up about 50% of the time, forcing you to reboot the instance. It also has a tendancy to crash. When it does, there is a fair chance of that instance not working again.
All that being said, this is without a doubt the most beautiful mod I've ever seen. The little bit I was able to travel before crashing was absolutely stunning. The plantlife alone makes the world absolutely enchanting.
Once I can get this mod to work 100% of the time, and without crashing, I may never need another mod.

So is this mod dead or will it be updated to MC 1.4.4 or 1.4.5?
i'm not dead. i'm currently developing a dimensions mod so i don't have much time to update ect. since minecraft keeps updating to newer and new versions its preety hard to keep updating and updating. i'll try to update this mod when i can sorry for making you wait :/

Ohhh well take your time! I am really in no rush it is you that does the favor for all of us non-modders so I can be patient. got nothing but luv going your way for the effort. Although I am not going to be messing with any more dimension mods since they seem to make my game all screwy even when there is no crash.
If this really adds 220 biomes, there one thing I want to say:
Holly Sandwich Herobrine In a Toaster!
Yes it really adds that many biomes. If you use the mobspawncontrol mod and look in the file "SpawnConfiguration.txt" generated in the saved game folder then you can see the names of them all and count them for yourself.
Its not as insane as you might think because just like the Vanilla biomes there is a lot of overlap. But there really are many fantastic terrain features in this mod.
I think you should continue development on this one. It adds considerably more biomes than any other I can find. And I love how these looks. You definitely get some diamonds for this one.
