I'm unable to reproduce that bug. Keep in mind that the coordinates won't show up in the tooltip when playing on SMP. There also has to be a totem at the linked coordinates for it to teleport.
Hmm, i could send you a server log so you can deduce if its a mod complication. I do have redstone on me, i do link them and keep a totem at coordinates, but after a few uses or an hour they tell me they are not linked. If theres something i can get to you so you can find the bug, let me know! Happy to help however i can
Creating the spawn point teleporter requires redstone even if disabled in the config file. Normal teleportation stones work fine without redstone consumption.
im sure this has been said and you probably already plan on it, but i just want to say that a naming system will be awesome. Coordinates are a great start, but having a name for each key would be better
Yeah I know, but redstone is really cheap. And I though a stone should use "magic" so "enderpearl" not energy like a battery because, its stone maybe a new "fuel" item, wich has a ender pearl surrounded by 8 redstone, gives you maybe 8 fuels so you can teleport 8 times with that item(maybe config option 8/16/32, so if you want it harder, you get only 8 out of this recipes).
Just a suggestion, I like your mod but I think a teleport should cost more.

Would it be possible to make the resource required be changeable to whatever item? So like lets say someone wanted to charge a diamond instead of a redstone. Or maybe just dirt. XD
