There's some kind of issue with newer versions of Forge that cause modded trees to not generate. Downgrading should help.
Since this seems to only affect the 1.10.2 versions of Forge, we likely won't be able to upgrade and fix it, at least not until 1.9.4 is deemed to be dead. We build against 1.9.4, so that it works on 1.9.4 and 1.10.2, but if we were to build against 1.10.2, it would *not* be backwards compatible with 1.9.4.
We'd have to maintain 2 separate versions, and that's just not gonna happen.
Thank you for reply. Yes, you're right: Forge downgrading helped. The last working version is 12.18.1.2038. I think the reason is here (from Changelog of Forge):
Build 1.10.2-12.18.1.2039:
dakotapierone: Update decorate for biomes to support Decorate event
Thanks for the reply! I see, well I wish him the best of luck with his last year at school in that case! Would be appreciated if you could post on here when you have more information regarding when they will be added - although I'm sure you would anyway!
Last question: If I enter the nether now, but limit the amount of space I explore - when nether biomes are re-added, will they still be able to generate in the unexplored parts of my nether (the same kind of principle as new vanilla features in the overworld)? Or is it a case of, if I enter the nether now, I won't ever be able to get nether biomes in this save file, without actually going into the files and deleting the nether chunks?
Please and thanks! (As you can tell I've been trying to hold back going to the nether despite increasing sheer desperation haha!)
Should work, AFAIK. The override will use the same dimension ID and everything as the regular Nether, so new chunks should generate new biomes when they're added
The tree bug affecting people using newer versions of Forge for 1.10.2 has been fixed.
Also, we're going to be natively building against 1.10.2 now, rather than building with 1.9.4 and just relying on the forwards compatibility. Most people seem to use 1.10.2 anyway, and there are some things with it that I plan on using, like Magma and Bone blocks for Nether biomes.

Strange...
1. Tested Forge ver. 2046 on existing world (seed 3610660844093074297, created with Forge ver. 2038) : bamboo trees, eucalyptus trees OK. But... Every pool of Hot Spring Water dissapeared in Sacred Springs biome (look at screens). In Alps biome, everything is OK with pools.
2. Tested on newly created world (the same seed, Forge ver. 2046) : no bamboo trees, no eucaliptus trees. Pools of Hot Spring Water OK
Spawn is in eucaliptus trees, bamboo forest at 80, 20. BoP ver. 2064. I hope You understand me, english is not my first language.

Not sure why the spring water disappeared, but you need to use version 2065 of BOP. That's the one with the tree fix
Quicksand too World created with Forge 2038 and BoP 2058 (before "tree fix"), chunk with Quicksand generated. Now, upgrade to Forge 2048 and BoP 2065 (after "tree fix"), open world, and... look at video
Hi, I really like your mod, I put him in a public server, but I started playing minecraft 1.10.2 version of the future, my world no longer generates wood formation, I use the server version is minecraft: 1.10.2
12.18.1.2046 Forge
I and my little partner can not find a variety of trees, how can I do to ensure that the case of the world to generate trees to make it?
Only mod of trees do not produce anything else that is normal.
Is there a multi world mod? So that I can create a world, to generate trees for me and my little guy with chicken
EbXL FTW You removed an entire dimension because of LAG. You remved the pasture (AKA the best biome in the mod) because you felt like it. Half of your biomes are copycats of each other.

Good on you. You're bashing a mod and advertising another on that mod's thread. Do you feel like you should be congratulated for this?

You need to use version 2065 of BOP. Look at my posts above (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286162-biomes-o-plenty-over-50-new-biomes-with-new-trees?comment=11659) and @Forstride's answers
The bug was fixed, which I said on the previous page. Just update Biomes O' Plenty to the latest version
