We will be setting up an official server with BOP and our other mod, Tough As Nails soon, once Tough As Nails has a few more important features implemented.
thanks for the quick reply if i want to find a biome what should i do?

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
I'm playing this in a 1.10 [edit, well that was a great typo!] world and I just got to the nether. I loved the old BOP nether, are we gonna see any of those beloved biomes in further updates?
Just curious if im unlucky or not. I have gone through several 1.10 worlds quite extensivley have yet to find any of the island biomes at all. Really missing seeing some volcano and tropical islands. Will there be a frequency of the biomes added back in with future updates? And actually quite a few biomes i havent seen.
Edit: I do have to say though I love alot of the changes you guys have done with some of the biomes vs the 1.7.10 versions of the same biomes, fantastic job.

You see, I tried to enable 5 biomes I like most. I changed everything else to -1 and it worked.
But it was really hard time to find those biomes. I went exploring 3 hours and I found only one!
Vanilla, vanilla was everywhere!
Then I sighed and tried to generate 10 new worlds with random seed.
The effects was same.
So I thought that some BOP biomes have an extremely rare chance to generate.
I don't know is there such a thing like "generation priority".
Maybe vanilla biomes have a highest priority to generate.
We really need the frequency. Enable/disable option is not enough.

They're meant to be rare. It gives you more of a reason to explore.
Also, regarding what Cheese_for_everyone said, vanilla biomes do have priority. You can change the weights of our biomes with the biome config files, but it's a bit complex.
Ok I've been searching my world for 2 hours on end and I cant even find one of the fantasy biomes, I set my world to default but BOP biomes still spawn, Im trying to find the Origin Island and the Garden biome but I just cant, I even found TWO Mushroom Biomes in the process of trying to find those biomes, which is kinda insane, any help? Plus I cant customise the "More World Options" to make it spawn Fantasy biomes for some reason with the lastest version on BOP for 1.7.10

Thanks for the 1.10 update I love this so much! It seems that so many GOOD mods are being not updated and forgotten. Thank you very much for keeping this mod alive!

Pretty much any 1.9.4 mod works on 1.10 by default. But, enjoy!

I dont know alot of people working on 1.10 updates and i have at least 100 mods in my 1.10 modpack right now somethings a little glitchy but overall for the most part im finding the modpack pretty stable just keep up with the updates. Alot of mods wont even change the world hardly with the updates either.
thanks for the quick reply if i want to find a biome what should i do?

It was a great feature to enable/disable biome generation.
We'll be glad to see it again in 1.9.4/1.10.
Best regards!
You can. Change biome IDs to -1 to disable them

I like this feature much better then the old true or false of disabling biomes. This frees up biome IDs this way. Much better IMO.
It works!

Sure thing. I've heard about json that I need to put in config\biomesoplenty\biomes.
I saw this manual.
But the instructions is not very much clear to understand.
It'd be much easier if we had a few ready json as example.
It would give us some understanding of things we are experimentating with.
Hi there, can someone explains to me how do I use the /biomesoplenty command ?
What do i have to type for the [args] part ?
No? Tell the creator of that mod to learn how to use the biome dictionary

Thanks for the 1.10 update I love this so much! It seems that so many GOOD mods are being not updated and forgotten. Thank you very much for keeping this mod alive!
Pretty much any 1.9.4 mod works on 1.10 by default. But, enjoy!
This account is a shared dev team account between the developers of the Biomes O' Plenty, Tough As Nails, and Bullseye mods.
Pls help me
I dont know alot of people working on 1.10 updates and i have at least 100 mods in my 1.10 modpack right now somethings a little glitchy but overall for the most part im finding the modpack pretty stable just keep up with the updates. Alot of mods wont even change the world hardly with the updates either.
1) We do not support 1.7.10 anymore.
2) Biome ID conflicts are up to the user to fix, and it will always be that way
wait wot
I have 1.7.10 it works fine O.O
I like Rainbows. Deal with it >B3
