wow, I have been playing around a bit with the mod and I have to say, I am impressed.
There is a huge range of biomes and things to do, Thanks for this mod
hey, i read through the pages and i saw something about removing the .va class and one other to get this to work with forge. is there anything similar that can be done in 1.4.2? i would like to use this mod with other mods that add dimensions. good mod btw.
The ugly, bad and disgusting thing is that this mod is not compatible with Forge.....
Why you guys make mods for Forge or Modloader? What is the difference this is so crappy because people want to have all mods but they can't because some use modeloader and some use Forge...
In that case I will stay using Forge... It's better...

If you require any assistance with redstone or command blocks, ask me. From answering a question to developing a system, I will do it.
No, please don't do that, cyan sky fits the biome perfectly IMO.
It looks awful.
Make it a different blue. I don't care what kind of blue it is. Just change it from that moldy-ass cyan that looks like something from SBAHJ.
hi i downloaded this and modloader and i cant open my minecraft file in the bin because it says java isnt allowing it or its corrupted, how do i fix this

I've been thinking about it, but like I've said before, I'm hardly a programmer, and Forge is pretty complicated for how much I know about modding (Which isn't a lot).
I'd be interested in maybe teaming up with someone else to help port it over to Forge, and possibly Bukkit, but I don't know any other modders. My views on Forge have changed quite a bit TBH. I didn't know that it doesn't require ModLoader and ModLoaderMP anymore up until recently, and that was one factor in my decision not to use it.
Forge would allow me to add a bunch of new blocks, and in turn, new biomes. And of course, compatibility with other mods and multiplayer support would also come with it.
So, if someone is able and willing to help me with porting the mod to Forge, I'd definitely be interested.
The author is willing but lacks knowledge of Forges structure. I figure all these other posts are showing theres definitely an audience for it. Personally, I think BOP looks amazing, however I use forge. Like many others, I would play it if it were forge compatible. With all the interest, I am sure some modder will pick up the mantle and help port this to forge.
Well in that case, I won't be making it compatible with Forge anytime soon. I don't appreciate being insulted over not using it, and I'm not going to give jerks like them what they want. You guys certainly haven't given Forge a good name from what you said. You've only associated it with elitists who refuse to use mods that don't support it.
So to those who keep asking for Forge support, or slinging rude names at me for not having it, it definitely won't be coming now, and you only have yourself to blame. For those of you who are content with the mod in its current ModLoader-compatible state, thanks for enjoying the mod and not being rude about it.
I'm going to ignore any Forge related posts from now on, so either don't bother posting anything with the word Forge in it, or don't ask me why I'm not responding.
great looking mod, but i have one suggestion, could you make a version of this that it aesthetic only (aka just vanilla blocks but with your amazing landscapes [probably add more options for the grass-color/tree-color to achieve the different colors of grass and leaves])
so basically make a second version of this mod that doesn't add any new blocks, but just has the terrain generation changes.
I, and mabye a bunch of others would love this for a more vanilla feel to it, (not adding pleasing, but unnecessary [my opinion] blocks and items)
i would love it if you took this into consideration and mabye someday made a new version that would be applicable to use in a LP of default minecraft with different shaped biomes
thanks for spending some time to read my post and i hope you take it into consideration
EDIT: i actually support using modloader, i find it much simpiler to use, so keep up the good work on the mod and i hope the majority of people here see some sense in what you did hehe
This mod is AMAZING. The only thing that would make it better is ExtrabiomesXL compatibility, but I know that you don't want to add forge support... Oh well, this is better anyway.

For all you out there whining about it not being forge compatible, Thanks a lot you inconsiderate twats I just found out about this mod and I was sad it wasn't compatible with forge and that it never will be (since I use it and all), But when i looked back in the comments he was considering porting it to forge but no, you idiots had to go an ruin it for everyone! SO here is a Friendly tip, STOP COMPLAINING if you want it one way but the author doesn't then GET OVER IT! It's entirely the Authors/Creators Decision for it to be Modloader or Forge compatible, Not the People, your job is to give feedback and suggestions to make the mod better! Not to make the Author do what you want by spamming with comments for him to port to forge, Lastly for all of you that do you use forge and were waiting patiently for him to port it you can yell at all the inconsiderate idiots that wouldn't stop complaining!
I could try and help you port. I'm a programmer, and although I'm not one to use forge also, I'm willing to learn, and try and help you, sorry if I um.. seem completely incompetent.
No you can't, try reading his FaQs before posting a question btw... It already answers that.

There is only one request, I want a world where a sea of vanilla are not made at the World type.

Seriously? Read the first ing page of the forum. I'm even getting annoyed by these "please switch to forge" comments. He's not going to do it.

im not kidding though, modloader is much easier
Also, I think the water in marsh is too deep. It's 7 blocks deep, should be 1 block deep.
