I'm having no luck installing this mod -.- I'm about to give up on it and go get another mod like it.

Installing the mod is basically downloading a zip file and copying it into the /mods folder. That's pretty much how almost all mods work so I think there's a great chance you'll have issues with the next mod you try and install.
I'm assuming there's something more complicated than that causing you grief. If you post a crashlog, WITH SPOILERS, I'm sure someone will try and help you out.
Than fill it with loads of zombies and spiders yet no creepers, enders or skeles through MSC.
So you can have rotten flesh to try to survive in the deadly expanse.
Another thing I noticed is how well centipedes from project zulu fit into the garden biome. Putting them at increased spawn rate turned the biome from once a relatively safe biome to a hell hole of giant man eating bugs.
I think I may have broken it... Minecraft crashes on StrongHold generation, and I THINK that this is the mod at fault. Anyone know how to fix this? It won't let me load the world without crashing now.

Edit- Fixed it! Turns out I had a mod that made StrongHolds spawn differently (Namely, making it so that Ravines and Caves did not cut across the stronghold). I removed that, and now it runs fine.

as long as you have forge then yes it will work with IC as you may have seen from Direwolf's let's play or the FTB mod pack it may work with millenaire but how frequent will the millenaire villages spawn is unknown to me.

go to the 1st page and click the link next to 'primary download' adfly will appear, just wait the 5 seconds and click 'skip ad' in the upper right corner. Once downloaded, place the entire (UNOPENED) zip file into your 'mods' folder located in the .minecraft folder. Run game, when creating a new world, go to 'more world option' and change 'world type' to biomes o'plenty.
Note:this mod requires the latest forge, install forge before anything.(if you haven't already)

I love the config file btw...it makes it so easy to pick what biomes you want and don't want. Every mod should have easy configs like that.
But I did notice one thing that I wasn't too keen on, though it's understandable. It's compatible to Thaumcraft but doesn't work with it's files. None of the new items in BOP offers any kind of elements for Thaumcraft, which is a real shame. Is there any chance of possibly working with that mod in the future?

Milllenaire works fine with BoP. Millenaire villages will spawn in just about any of the biomes, and frequently enough that there shouldn't really be any trouble finding one.
As for reeds, they don't grow. Neither do cattails, for that matter.

In my opinion, it'd be better if everything had the option to be disabled, for servers especially, but they've made it abundantly clear that they're not interested in doing that. It's a shame that we've had to completely remove the recipe for the Ancient Staff so people can't make it and go to the Promised Land - just to keep Amethyst from being used.
Hmm... oops. I was looking at a different config file, for a different mod. I'm not the best at this kind of thing, but perhaps if you change the junglespider entity ID to 0, they will be disabled? Then again, that may cause issues internally. Perhaps someone with more experience in this sort of thing can give their two cents, so to speak?

as long as you have forge then yes it will work with IC as you may have seen from Direwolf's let's play or the FTB mod pack it may work with millenaire but how frequent will the millenaire villages spawn is unknown to me.
I have a question do the reeds from the biomes grow? not the vanilla sugar canes

I love the config file btw...it makes it so easy to pick what biomes you want and don't want. Every mod should have easy configs like that.
But I did notice one thing that I wasn't too keen on, though it's understandable. It's compatible to Thaumcraft but doesn't work with it's files. None of the new items in BOP offers any kind of elements for Thaumcraft, which is a real shame. Is there any chance of possibly working with that mod in the future?
Milllenaire works fine with BoP. Millenaire villages will spawn in just about any of the biomes, and frequently enough that there shouldn't really be any trouble finding one.
As for reeds, they don't grow. Neither do cattails, for that matter.
In my opinion, it'd be better if everything had the option to be disabled, for servers especially, but they've made it abundantly clear that they're not interested in doing that. It's a shame that we've had to completely remove the recipe for the Ancient Staff so people can't make it and go to the Promised Land - just to keep Amethyst from being used.
Hmm... oops. I was looking at a different config file, for a different mod. I'm not the best at this kind of thing, but perhaps if you change the junglespider entity ID to 0, they will be disabled? Then again, that may cause issues internally. Perhaps someone with more experience in this sort of thing can give their two cents, so to speak?
