Hey Im trying to make a private modpack on MC 1.7.2 and Im using the ATLauncher. Everytime I try to launch minecraft i get this error message on my screen: "Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation. The mods and versions listed below could not be found: Forge: minimum version required is 10.12.2.1147 The file "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" contains more information."
First off, I can't find that log anywhere; secondly, Iv'e installed that version of Forge and it still doesnt work. Any suggestions? Here is a crash log, hope it helps.

hai im working on updating my modpack from 1.6.4 to 1.7 and want to swich my lan ssp from vanilla to BoP wrold gen (forgot to do it befor making the world) is there anyway to do it?
While I'm sure there's some way, it'll probably be a ton of work and leave several features out of the game unless you travel far and wide to generate new chunks. Given how many changes were made to both Vanilla and BoP between version 1.6.4 and version 1.7, it may be better to generate a new world. However, I know some people like playing the same world that they first began, so it's really your choice.
How do you use this in 1.8 when FML causes minecraft to crash on world creation?
Maybe you'll have to make your world in Vanilla World Gen first. I don't know.

You can't use 1.7 mods in 1.8. It will always result in a crash.
Yes, but there are official 1.8 versions of Biomes O' Plenty, apparently.

why have you guys never done giant flowers for all of the new flowers or your own? I don't really like the whole large flower thing to much myself but with a giant flower of each kind and all of your mushrooms you could build some really cool things if you ask me.
Sorry to be a bother but something with Bioms O plenty isn't liking my game *sheepish* I'm playing 1.7.10

I know I just asked this, but I didn't seem to get an answer, but anyway. I have BoP installed correctly (BoP items appear in my creative inventory) however no BoP biomes spawn. According to bonnyvonscotty there's a Biomes O' Plenty world type, but there isn't for me. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I installed Forge for 1.8 (8.0.7.1014 I think), and put the 1.8 version (I think 3.0.0.1017) of BoP in the "mods" folder. I'm on Mac, if that changes anything. (and don't start a flame war about Mac vs. PC, please. Be helpful.)
Apparently MFR has changed things around and all other mods are now required to tell MFR which fruits can be picked with the Fruit Picker. Sooo.. any chance of doing exactly that? Making berry bushes and apples from the Orchard -biome apple trees harvestable with MFR Fruit Picker?
Is there a way to disable certain biomes or items? I'm using both BoP and Growthcraft, which adds apple trees and bamboo, so I'd like to disable BoP's bamboo and orchard.
If not, maybe in a future update, there could be an option to generate Growthcraft bamboo/apple trees in the Bamboo Forest and Orchard biomes, if Growthcraft is installed.
help, nether biomes are spawning in my overworld. I'm also having mushroom islands spawning connected to land.
Mushroom islands already spawn connected to land. That's a feature of vanilla Minecraft. As for the nether biomes in the overworld, check if you have any other mods that add biomes, the nether biomes could be conflicting with them.

Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
Please post the complete crash log (in spoilers, if you would) so that we can possibly figure out why it crashes.
First off, I can't find that log anywhere; secondly, Iv'e installed that version of Forge and it still doesnt work. Any suggestions? Here is a crash log, hope it helps.

Update to Forge 1230 or so. 1004 was made to work with that version, which fixed biome gen, I believe.
If not, maybe in a future update, there could be an option to generate Growthcraft bamboo/apple trees in the Bamboo Forest and Orchard biomes, if Growthcraft is installed.
Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
I occasionally make textures/models for random people. Contributed to: Tinker's Construct, Growthcraft, and Animals+
PixelQuest 2, my new 1.10 RPG/rougelike-inspired modpack, is coming soon!
Mushroom islands already spawn connected to land. That's a feature of vanilla Minecraft. As for the nether biomes in the overworld, check if you have any other mods that add biomes, the nether biomes could be conflicting with them.
